How old are you kid?

Congratz Rocket, I'm happy for you and your team. What you're doing right now is inspiring every indie developers out there.

The thing you like the most and the thing you hate the most about the standalone ?

Like: -More interiors in buildings -More interesting areas like abandoned ship, added military bases, and buildings -WAY better inventory system and more complexity to the items(combining bandages, ammo management, needing sharp objects to open canned food) -more clothes -slightly better performance on my end with better graphics from my end -being able to join friends through Steam Don't Like: -Random character reset The rest of the things are up in the air because everything is still work-in progress. Although I don't like the glitchy zombies, there is no doubt they'll patch that up sometimes in the future. -
How many people do you kill in a life on average?
klusps replied to Mays (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
I probably killed 10 people in total, but for each new character, an average of maybe 0-3. -
Happened to me too. Hope they fix it later, but yea...alpha.

Lots of military outfits.

I have an idea for helping with the KOS problem. Rocket should read.
klusps replied to Rzach's topic in General Discussion
I don't mind KOS and I believe players should have the freedom to do whatever he/she wants, but I do think the zombies would bring this KOS issue to a settling conclusion. I remember when I played the original DayZ mod, when it became popular, players would actually band together to kill zombies because at that time we didn't know how to exploit them. As the DayZ mod became more popular people learned exploits to avoid and escape from zombies. This made zombies not a threat to them anymore and the only other threats are other players. If Rocket does make the zombies more threatening and dangerous it will have an effect on KOS, for the the better or the worst. -
Wow, so does this really happen in the SA. Can anybody confirm it?
-
I found a couple in Cherno randomly.

I still haven't been "betrayed" yet in the game. Usually when I see a person I yell friendly behind cover and if he sounds trust worthy enough I invite him to tag along. Of course I still keep a distance from that person and keep my eyes on the player.

Me like. -
Lock player characters to a server for a set time period
klusps replied to seannybgoode's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
That's not true. DayZ is entirely a community based game. -
I don't like name tags, but I do like the idea of war paint, spray paints, colored rags(possibly be worn by the arm), and basically more variety of clothing.

PTSD realistically, is something that sticks to a person forever. I know where you're going with this OP, but if you compare it to real life it doesn't really make sense. In a way, it is just another "gamey" type mechanic that will ruin the authenticity and immersion of player interaction, IMO. -
I really like the light blue color shirts. Makes the player seem less menacing and more inviting, but of course, the problem is that anybody could dress up like that and label themselves a "hero".
