I have seen 5 servers instantly killed by hackers in the last two weeks alone, your VERY lucky not to have landed on one yet..... and for the record the last one that happened there were four players on. None the less well done!

Was 4 till the server got raped by a hacker. How long has everyone ells managed to avoid server wipe outs for?

Also quiting, just very little point in playing for me. Went north and came across two heli crashes, Found me a FN-FAL and a DRM. Downloaded the training ground mod for ARMA and practiced so I could kill me some bandits... Ran all the way back south and just as I got there BANG the whole server dies. About 3 hours of play time and alot more if you include how long it will take me to get those weapons again. This is about the fith time I have seen servers wiped out and unless you play knowing that soon you will die no matter what then it is pointless. Great game apart from this and will give the stand alone a shot.

So I was playing last night and was near the north east air field, I logged in today and im in the wilderness and on my map there are allot of markings all over that I have not done, including a rather large penis made up from the black cross markings. My food and water and all gear are the same, Once before some thing happened to me like this but because there was no penis I thought it was a bug but this has clearly been done by someone. So my question is how? Could it be done from server side from a server I joined last or does this mean my account has been hacked, and would this include my steam account? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, Server side are able to edit stuff on my end I know this. I have not played ARMA 2 only got the game for dayz so dont know how it fully works (No i'v never played COD)

So what about the fact that my char had moved? when i say wilderness I dont mean the empty fields that the bug takes you too I mean in a new place in the woods.

Why does this bug happen? I didnt have this problem for weeks now its happened twice in a row. Is it about where you log out? Both times I was in a building.
