    Cant see it being December now, It's going to be a release on Steam and there isnt a whisper about it on there. Considering it would have to be out in less than three weeks I would expect pre-order or at least it showing on games with a rough ETA.... Next year IMO.

    Once had a very well geared guy M4A1 CCO SD, AS50, NVG, ghillie suit ect ect all out....... exept could never find a compas for him, I must have searched 50/60 meduim/high value buildings and he never did get one. Next life I had compases coming out of my butt hole.....

    Most of the night the screen is so black for me I cant see where I'm walking..... could be running with my face against a wall and wouldnt know....... not good gaming.

    Sorry for making a thread for this but I have been away for a month or so (Since the game took my gear and put me on the beach). And I was just wondering is it still possible to see a kill count of other players?

    Iv been away for a month or so and notice that I can no longer see the amount of players I have killed, is there any way to find out this number?

    Yeah I agree TBH but temptation to keep an eye on the count was nice, It may indeed lower the number of people killing poor geared people for no reason so I understand. The main reason I asked is cos like i said im having the life time of my life time at the minute and survived about 40 dayz (11/12 of them I played) and about 15 kills or somthing so just wanted to see if I could find my exact number. No worries and I agree that it is probably for the best.

    Am I right in saying that if you have any kind of vehicle, even a old bike, that when u go to a building there is never any loot because you approached it too fast? This is the case for me anyway. If so how can you have a vehicle and gear up at the same time?

    My ARMA2 version is 97448 and according to DayzCommander the latest version, But when I search for servers and click "hide wrong arma 2 version" i go from seeing hundreds of servers down to about 15 server. The most common version which Commander says is 97240 is not on my list to install. Any ideas how i can get a bigger selection of servers?

    Hosting a Server

    I would like to know how this is done too, although I wouldnt get the thrill of hearing footsteps around me again at least I know I'm not going to drop dead any time a hacker wipes out the server. Any help would be appreciated.

    I have seen 5 servers instantly killed by hackers in the last two weeks alone, your VERY lucky not to have landed on one yet..... and for the record the last one that happened there were four players on. None the less well done!
