I think one should be able to do what they want with a server, they are paying their hard earned cash for a service. If the clans want a locked server on the public hive I think it should be acceptable as they are paying for a rented server. I don't think server locking is available at this time but I have seen a few on the in-game server browser. If Rocket keeps a tight grip on what people can and cannot do on their Dayz server, as McG2 said this game will fail miserably.

Hello there I have a problem with my Dayz that I need help resolving. After work today I logged onto the Dayz server that I always play and I am constantly being kicked for " Wrong signature rock2.pbo ". Dayz worked fine last night when playing but all of a sudden Kick, kick, kick. If anyone can help me I would be extremely grateful. I am using a steam version of the game ( hope that helps ) Cheers Hunter

I would just say keep your head down friend and play only at night, cars draw too much attention too a person

Gear I was on Dayz today and realized no new Gear or weapons have been added for a wee while, So just pondering my thoughts and maybe it would be possible too add some Military webbing too hold ammo instead of having too use the backpack or inventory too Hold Ammunition (A bit like an extra bag). Body Armour? Maybe have some military ceramic combat vests too help when in PvP? Obviously you wont start with any of the gear I have mentioned but it would be some more 'Quest objectives' for people wanting too gear up their character. Weapons When thinking about weapons I know that Dayz has the L85 with the 'god' scope. I was thinking how about the standard British Army L85a2 with SUSAT? I think it would be an amazing addition too the game as the L85 is an iconic weapon of Britain (even though its made by H&k now but shh its a secret ;) ). The G36 family possibly? As the map of Chernas is taken from Germany I thought how about some good old German iconic weapons, the G36 popped into my noggin :) Last but not least the British Army L96a1 I think this is an awesome looking sniper rifle ( alot better than the American m24 ) Its just got the boss Caliber and the Boss look and combined with the Ghillie Suit, I think it would look amazing. These are only suggestions, if you don't mind no trolling, only suggesting something too make the game more fun Cheers Hunter. p.s I am up for a conversation about Idea's!! :D

How can you use two different steam accounts? as Dayzcommander and Six Launcher automatically use whatever CD key is available? How would one switch between CD keys for the launchers?

Thats a good idea, I think this deserved a thumbs up :) could it be a different weapon cleaning kit for various different weapons though? as an m1911 kit will be different too an AS50 kit? Maybe it could be items in inventory such as Rifle cleaning kit Pistol cleaning kit shotgun cleaning kit Sniper rifle cleaning kit etc?

Its a very good idea, but it could possibly cause imbalance in the game, Because with different patches some classes will Op other classes, I see what you want too do here but it will then in my opinion COD it :/

Ah my apologies friend, I was reading a post here the other day and I must of misread, the weapon itself has it got a bigger magazine?

That's an awesome suggestion, here is a scenario, We have got a jeep and tents and we are in a Forrest close too an airfield due too the amount of traffic moving through the airfield covering up equipment with netting too make it harder for 'outsiders' too find and raid. I like it friend very good suggestion :)!

I see what you mean, It could just make 'uber clans more uber' and when you said 'A normal chap with a shotgun still has a chance against 'godlike' characters' That made more sense too me when you put it that way, Hmm what do you suggest?

what is the spawn chances in this patch? higher, lower or the same as always?

Hi there, I was playing Dayz last night and it worked fine, I logged on via SL6 today and every server I try too connect too says " Bad version, server rejected connection ". Ive read a few previous posts about this problem, was there an update overnight or something? Any help greatly appreciated, Hunter

Im running 1.62, thats all i know, steam updated it for me yesterday, does that help at all?

How do I find out that Info which patch im running and how to update if nessesary?
