just happened to me for the second time now... buddy lost a .50cal, 4 mags for it, i lost an akm 4 mags, full equipment, another buddy lost dmr with 9 mags.... im officially done playing this game until this issue is addressed or a final, not alpha or beta, copy of the mod comes out. this is bullshit... nyc7 was the server btw.

you do realize there is consequence to people dying, right? when you spawn, theres a set amount of (basically) nothing that you spawn with. when you die, no matter how much you had, you go back to that. The game is based on realism. you're attempting to bring in digital effects to it, which would bring the game away from reality. Stop crying and play the game.

I have had instances of lag causing me to die. In all of them, the other player is not moving, and when the lag stops, we both drop and kinda say wtf... in this case, the material glitched out and i saw him looking around at my dead body. and i had never crossed the doorway where he could have shot me. The game does have an anti cheat. Its called battle eye. Its just really bad. to the point that you dont have to find cheats that you need to pay for that can evade it. Like I said, I dont rage when I die. I died with an m240 and 4 belt for it, nvg's, an m24 with 6 clips in my bag, and most of the gear (map binocs, compass, etc.). Its a game. I understand that so if i die i keep playing and get my shit back eventually. I only rage the game when I die to a cheater. Its not fair, and every game is the same in that sense.

First off, this isnt a rage call. I've died with alot more expensive items on me and laughed at it. But when someone cheats and kills me, it bugs me. Ok so I log in to a server at the nw airbase in a corner near the barracks, and i proceed to crouch walk up to the barracks door. the first door on the left (before going over the bench) was closed. being careful, i stay at the side of it when i open it. using the 3rd person camera, i see a guy in there. Not wanting to lose all that i have, I leave the barracks. Out the door and to the right. As I leave the door and turn right, I drop dead. Blood still said 12000, i heard a sniper shot go off to the right of me (in the room he was in). as i drop, the materials glitch out and I see the same guy, sitting there looking through the wall at my dead body... so my only question now, is wtf? lol... I think if this game gets more popular as it is already they need to drop the shitty anti cheat... That's the second time I've died to a kid cheating.

its because theyre really backed up. this mod brought in 5 times the original sales of arma2. needless to say its slightly popular now. unfortunately, you just have to give it patience. I think we need to be supportive of rocket right now for putting up with all of our shit :p hes doing an amazing job and im sure our support of him and his ALPHA mod will help him keep up the great work.

Yeah. apparently this mod has brought in 5 times the original sales of arma 2. in all honesty, CONGRATS to rocket and the team. Its more than frustrating to have this happening right now, but I'm sure they're doing their best to get it fixed up. Let's hope its fixed up by tomorrow

So for the past 8 hours, I have been trying desperately to get into a game. Earlier today, I would get stuck on waiting for server response and after 15-20 mins of waiting, I would spawn with no guns, unable to move around. Tonight, EVERY SINGLE server I've tried joining, either during connecting, or shortly after, 'No message received.' and the connection closes about 2 mins after that message repeats itself. What the hell is going on? (I've tried Virginias, Texas, NYs,Chicagos, UKs, EUs FRs EVERYTHING. They all crash and restart.) My internet connection is fine. been playing other games flawlessly so thats not an issue.
