What about getting in other characters that not your? I've been wandering for dozens of random bandits for more than a hour now, can't seem to spawn in a fresh one.

Just today I installed the mod. Was really near elektro, it looked calm, I said wth, and went for it. Looted offices, houses, the market, hospital and coffee shop only seeing two dead survivors. On the coffee though, a guy just spawned on a room I had just cleared (spawned? teleported? no way to know, but it was a hell of a coincidence) saw me as I'm gearing up in another room, and single shoots me to death. Bye to my Alice pack with my colt, a winchester, lots of ammo, beans, cokes, bottles of water, a bunch of general hospital supplies, watch, compass, matches, tent etc. He was a survivor, had some nice weapons, but probable a starter, and he just goes and kills me without saying anything, without me presenting him any danger. It's not that they shouldn't kill, but for no reason? He just saw me and probably thought "What the hell, there's no fucking penalty if I kill him so might just do it" PVP now is not about fun, need or anything. It is just about your decision not influencing anything outside.

Thing is: Right now the game is intended for those who seek to kill everyone on sight. IF you don't do that, you are at a disvantage.

No, no, don't worry. Sometimes I will be away for a week (as of next week, from 05/28 to 06/01) but these must be rare occasions, and I will always let you guys know in anticipation. Proceeding to the application form right now, thanks for your fast response.

My game will be ready to play as of tomorrow, although I only have my weekends free and sometimes 1 or 2 hours on some weekdays. I'm 18 and have experience with ARMA 2 and OA as far as the demos go, with some missions and several hours of youtube learning for DAYZ. Are you willing to receive someone that may not have that much time to play with you? For me, there's no point playing this mod alone, and you guys seem like a nice group.

I think that keeping your body temperature is much more important than having antibiotics, so you won't really need them as far as you make a fire here and there, and avoid running in the rain.

Hotfix .2 seems to have NAILED it.

With some of the good packs, you can carry a lot of stuff. There's not really need to have more than one primary at a time, and 4 to 5 mags for it (and for the secondary) and you should have enough space to carry other supplies

As you already helped me here, do you guys know a good tutorial for installing from a non-steam version? Always that I search for it I find steam tutorials.

Oh, this makes things better. usually food and cokes are really common, so I guess it won't be a problem. Should I buy it on steam for 30$ or amazon for 15$? People always say steam is easier.

Do you STILL get hungry and thirsty when offline? seriously? I can only play on weekends as I study and work, so I have to make a new character everytime I play as I will day on each login?

Just want to know how to increase it, other than that, it may go down as fast as you want.

When you are cold/wet, with your body temperature low, there is a higher chance a virus will get to you, or a bacteria (throat pain) etc. That's why when you are sick you have fever, the high temperature is bad for these virus, they rather be on a coldish body. Yeah, you DO need to meet someone with a cold to get cold, but when you are wet, the chances of getting it from just touching where someone touched 4 hours ago is bigger.

I'm not used to this vocabulary, but does he mean whinny to be the winchester? I was expecting it to receive a 'nerd' as it was a better weapon at nearly everything.

I hadn't read the whole topic before, now I see the talking about getting wet. Getting a cold and being wet on rain, without being able to just stay down the day will certainly drop the immune system badly. I mean, I DO want this game to become more dangerous, as we see, the life expectancy has increased badly (if it's the same, it's because of the increased bandity lately, but environmental deaths are becoming rare) but a cold, idk, maybe it could kill sometimes, but I'd prefer if it's hard to happen.

More serious? When I have a cold I don't take any antibiotics, I just keep the normal eating and drinkin (And I eat mostly garbage) and get better in a couple of days. Please, don't make this like if you don't take antibiotics you will die, it is NOT freaking realistic.

Drop both on the floor and pick them where you want them to be: No chance of not working.

The only way I see survivors meeting up is when a group of 4 + meets another group as big. Both don't want to get lost or shoot everyone to death, so mostly ignore themselves. This, or 2 nearly dieing guys meeting in a hospital roof, but most probably both would die for a sniper anyway.

Nothing special for me. Random 20$ keyboard, random 8$ mouse, random free mouse pad came with an old book, and the speakers are 4 year old, one of them does not work. The 'monitor' is actually my room TV, because my monitor broke about 1 and a half year ago, although pretty big(26"), it has low res (1360x768). Only thing that bares to not be low-class is the computer itself with some mid-end hardware.
