    What I was thinking is something along these lines.... What generally unites two enemies? A common enemy, as of right now it's extremely easy to survive in this world when other players are taken out of the equation, in fact you could survive indefinitely. Now if an enemy in the game is introduced which is an extreme threat and makes the world hard to survive in when other players are taken out of the equation, what happens when they are added back to it? People bind together as it's easier to destroy a common enemy as a group rather than as a singular entity. Just an idea but it makes you think....

    That is a pretty large milestone for something so new, the only mod I can think of in history to really gain popularity like this in such a short period of time is my beloved..... Congratulations!

    It's seems that really no one in this day and age understands just how far from completion the beginning an alpha build actually is. Rocket is not a moron and knows what he is doing but at the same time wants to try new things as well as find balance for the things already in the game. This has been in alpha for a month, you need to take a step back and relax, it could be 1-3 years or so before this is actually done.

All it takes is one scout to report his findings to his clan and next thing you know 20 people are crawling all over the place taking everything. Just sayin'

    I'm a long time Counter-Strike player' date=' as a player of undoubtedly the most balanced shooting game on Earth the mentality of having balanced mechanics in a game which at its core is a shooter must be balanced for every player across the entire playing field. Having a smaller model affects the shooting mechanics and effectiveness as a player because of size discrepancies that can be taken advantage of. I figured something along those lines was probably going to be the way you would remedying the problem if it were implemented.

    I look at it from a different perspective which is detrimental to gameplay. Shorter and thinner models, smaller hit boxes, harder to be seen etc. Basically everyone would play as females for these reason alone and if it was enforced that not everyone could be a female people would get pissed and leave the game from the disadvantage of being the male in game.Politically correct? Sure. Good for balanced shooting games? Absolutely not.

    Without the HDR setting, the effect is quite a bit harder to achieve, albeit still possible. As to the supply of light-creating objects, the flares are easy enough to navigate with, but that's not the problem here. The problem is, why go through the trouble if someone else is going to avoid it entirely? Did you really just compare aimbot which is a cheat that edits memory and game code through the use of a 3rd party application to changing the settings of your gamma and say it's not a cheat?You ended any hope of people ever taking you serious and this conversation in the first sentence....

    Honestly, that only helps when the moon is out, if the moon is not up it's basically pitch black regardless of gamma settings.
