Oh it's real. And for me it will continue to be real (if we are talking about real as in the game world). I can careless about groups or even co-op. It take's too long and just want to what I do. Not have to wait around, get on some voice prog. wait around some more. Go frolicking in the forests with my buddies and having to share my survival skills/goods with them (If I happen to run into someone though and I have something extra I'll let them know in case they want to trade a bit.). If you like that, that's cool, but don't kill it (by making every fucking thing needing a group) for the people that actually prefer to be loners. I mean if that's how rocket wants it then w/e. I'll be on my way. No worries. Just saying. :P

Seriously though...I could care less what my guy is wearing. I can't even see him. I'd only use something that helped me out in certain places, like camo in the forests and shit. But I guess I wouldn't really know 'cause I can't see my guy anyway...unless it had a decent icon/name of it in your inventory.

Got around to getting this (taksi) capture prog. working. I just wanted to get a video in here that had a character with full blood, not injured, and right after spawning. I just started learning this shit so the quality isn't the greatest, but you can still see that I'm all of the above. My temp meter was a bit pinkish so I used a heat pack as well just to be sure. I was about 200-300ft away from castle Zub and it didn't stop until I got into the surrounding forest. I'd say like 2-3 more minutes. I looked around for whoever was there as well before getting to the forest. Szperacz: Can you put this in your original post so that people have a better idea of this effect? For future reference. I'll be that ass! :P When I first attempted to use it I got something like: You can only harvest from a tree in the forest" or w/e. When I was in a forest practically humping the tree. I later tried it further in the forest and worked perfectly. So yeah, I'm glad it was put in as well.

Actually Ravenspear he said he does make games. But I do think there needs to be set rules by the developer to some extent. This being one of them. It's not like when you die your suddenly not really whatever gender you chose the first time. You know? So being able to play as whatever you want (here being man or woman) is like saying let me play as "insert anything here actually". Why does it even have to be human? Maybe I'm not getting what mean? I like the idea. I do agree that an actual woman may be unconformable. Which is an unfortunate side effect. But unless these actual woman live in a cave irl. I'm sure they can handle it. If not, I don't what to say. Get help? It's not THAT bad? I don't know...

I'm not into getting all questiony on the Devs, but would like to know what "the Dev Team of DayZ" entails? rocket and who else and what role do they play in the creation of the mod? Cheers.

So for all you 3rd person advocates. Do you use 1st or 3rd person when you have the shakes (of course when having no painkillers on hand)? And don't tell me there's never a time you don't have painkillers. If there hasn't been a time. You must be some kind of ninja or hermit in the woods. Without ever having to use painkillers or stocking up on them so much to not be able to carry anything else. I'm guessing your going to say 3rd person. Cause if you can't handle head bob you sure as hell wouldn't/couldn't deal with that. So that right there is game breaking. Please don't say your aim is messed up when you have the shakes even in 3rd person 'cause that's easily compensated for.

Well you could just say they roamed away from another city or w/e. Just don't think they should ALWAYS be/re-spawned in cities. Say you wipe out a city. Where did the ones that re-spawned come from? I suck with ideas lol. I just hate when thing's are so predictable is all.

At some point your going to notice them from miles (not actual miles) away. The more and more you play. So they would in fact become pointless and annoying to have to disarm all the time 'cause I'm sure people will abuse the shit out of them. Like they do with barbed wire. Does sound cool though. Like if your looting a place set a trap at the door so your not disturbed and what not.

I'd love this type of thing as well. Sometimes I enjoy watching more than playing. Watching streams is one thing, but being able to switch to different players on the same server is what I'm talking about. Sucks that it would abused too much though.

Just tag the bitches. Last person that shot the other person is the ONLY one that can loot. If it was a Z that killed whoever then NO ONE gets it. Remove tents, storage, etc. If you have any possibility to get what you lost back. Why even re-spawn then, just so you can say I died or that the game can tell you so? Why not just knock us out for x amount of minutes? Cause someone will take everything and you can't survive with nothing? Which actually sounds better to me than spawning back at the beach or where ever again anyway...if death by player. If by Z I guess to the beach with you! Meh. Hopefully something will change in the future to make it more meaningful when you die. I'm dead...and? Oh I gotta run for a bit to retrieve my shit. Hope that I don't die next time 'cause I'll have to run some more. Err. I mean if rocket (he doesn't have to reply here just says something about it some where) has some explanation on how this makes any sense (dying, but being able to retrieve everything you lost negating your death anyway) then whatever, but I just don't get it. If it's perma death, then you should have no possibility what so ever to get your shit back imo.
