I would also like to see the ability to make electrical generators and lights of some sort to light up your base/safehouse. This would create an amazing coop dynamic within the game.
Like I said... Base building. Not everyone plays the game as a player killer. A group could build a base on top of a roof or in a building with rooftop access with better protection against snipers. Set up camp, gather supplys and help other players who come by. Like a safehouse.
I would like to see the ability to use/make wire fence and sandbags etc on rooftops in DayZ. I think this goes well with Rochet's vision for the game and opens up a new level of coop base building. Thanks for reading my suggestion.
Oh this is messed up. Just got an M4 scoped from nw airfield so I was trying it out on zeds... WTF?!?!?! Took about 4 - 5 shots per zed to put them down.
So yesterday I was playing on a local server and we stopped at a small town just before Stary Sobor. I used the standard "Run to the barn and dont wory about the stupid zombies" tactic. Once I got to the barn I had only two or three zeds following me in and I decided to put them down. I double tapped each one in the chest with my M1911 and they dropped like flies just as usual. Today I was playing on a different server in the same location just outside Stary. I emptied a whole clip of my M1911 in to a zeds chest and he still didnt drop. I noticed that all the zeds seemed to be tougher and take more rounds to put down. Is this a server side setting, a bug or a hotfix? I know this game is alpha and the conventional method for killing a zombie is to shoot it in the head but with the current state of the ai pathfinding, hitting a zed in the head is really tricky and even then they dont seem to be going down right away.
