Getting 20-50 fps on my 7950v2 on medium settings. Also i7 930 @ 4.1 ghz or 2.8 ghz make no difference. No fps gain no changes in cpu load (ingame @ about 20%) no matter what. Fps also depend on the server and how full it is. 256 GB SSD vertex 4 + 24 GB ram and running dayz off a ram disk. Crowded server, hasnt restarted for at least 2h, in electro 15-30 fps...

One question. How does one escape the monky monitor without dying? wait it out?

Last week I played around 50h of dayz killing a lot of snipers, bandits with my team. Around 10-15 kills daily. We were playing on a 50 man server which is always full and low on hackers. Ammount of hacked in weapons is insane tho. I got to -230k humanity althou every 2nd kill was a bandit. I got killed at the end of the week which should have reset humanity. Now everytime I put on any clothing my heart is racing and keeps that way. That is annoying because I will stay bandit forever. Any way to reset this? I still have a lot of ghillies stached in tents where we put the stuff we looted. I would like to put on a ghillie or camo without hearbeat noticeable to other players :( Oh and I always want to wear some kind of clothing because the annoying bug where you go bandit to normal skin then bandit again then after a while normal....and so on. This sh*t makes my backpack disappear all the time....

that is awesome and in night time there would be more people on the server then just 6

I would say my best shot was from the mountain in prigorotky while our team fought anouther team - two of them tried to crawl around us while I was standing on the very top with a m14, a guy from my team called 432m with a L85 standing and looking in our direction I just put the red dot over his body (covered his whole body) and one shot him dont know if he was low on blood or I landet a HS, the second guy next to him disconnected...

Well I was in cherno of duty too long all those noobs with g36c, as50tws, makarov SD, radio spawning in the cranes, sniper building & Visota made me sick after a while. Going to play on prive hive for a while then.

Well, it does matter if his key is sold since only 1 and only 1 entity can play at a time and also the guy who stole it or buys it most likely will hack on his key. Best thing to do is keep your key ingame as long as possible. Maybe create a lobby for 2 players online in arma 2 OA and keep machine on for next 2 weeks? When someone wants to use your key then he will get "key in use" error all the time and he will probably abandon the key after a while.

+press win button, type regedit, got HKEY_local_machine - software - wow6432node if 64bit - bohemia interactive +delete arma folders +restart steam, you have your original key back +hope the guy with your key is never on keep logged ingme so whoever tries to play with your key gets key in use message

You cannot do anything with GUID since it's generated server side as far as I'm aware of. Your CD key in your registry is in hex - as you join server BE (assumtion) or arma 2 OA server will generate the hash and push to BE(checking if its legit key) so if you spoof GUID (replace with your CD key in registry) the server will kick you for invalid key since the hash of the hash != the hash :D ..right?

sounds awesome besides I would NEVER give my GUID to someone on the internetz :P removing dmr, m14 is a "no go" for me

We had the monky monitor 2x today. And just out of curiosity I pressed esc again, and I got the message - no escaping this! and died. Also a friend who didnt get the notice to ctrl+alt+del and terminate died. Funny thing is how the developers say they cant do anything about alt+f4 and some script kiddie can kill you when you alt+f4 or try to DC. Also I you might be right that the monky monitor doesnt do that and actually only shows the debug. But still it might be a default action which comes with the hack or ppl just activate it most of the time.

8 retards replied with spam just to get their post count up. Congratz ppl. For ppl who want to know how to get out of it, you need to ctrl+alt+del then terminate process in task manager. If you press esc or alt+f4 a grey screen will pop which kills you. And all F buttons are disabled aswell - means will kill you. Trying to close game through win key +close game in Dayz Commander got me killed. The only 2 guys of my squad who survived were ctrl+alt+del guy and wait until monky monitor disappears guy.

I believe that on servers with more players more loot spawns. My team met up in Kamenka yesterday and we were going stary sobor. I came from NW Airfield with 2 guys and we were looting choppers, deer stands + the Airfield on our way south on a fairly empty server. We found 2 chopper spawns with ammo and 2 bizons + 1 m16a2 in a deerstand that was it. As we all met in Kamenka we joined a 50 man server and the loot was awesome. 1x ghillie and 1x camo cloting right in kamenka, 1x m24 + 2mags + 2 dmr mags in the first deer stand above it. chopper crashsite with as50+2mags, mk48mod0 with 1 mag, another crash site with 2x m14 and and and... As we arrived in Stary Sobor the whole 6 man had high grade military weapons, ghillied sniper with as50, m 24 , dmr guy, m16 acog, m14's, m9,g17 sidearms and enough ammo. In stary sobor we have found another ghillie in the red brick house. The cities on our way north provided enough food, drinks and alice packs for everyone.

I found a tent with 18 satchels the other day. I called my team in and we have gone blowing up cherno sniper building and the treeline as snipers spawned in. You find satchels on dupers and in duping tents. And very very rarely on the NW Airfield.

I think the sniper rifles do rly good damage. There is not much occasions where I need to shoot more then 2 shots. The SVD scope makes it rly overpowered since you dont need a rangefinder. Every sniper rifle has its pro's & con's. CZ - zeroing, fast bullet travel dmr - NV ability & variable zoom, semi 20 shot hip fire madness SVD - built in rangefinder & camo, range M14 - no bulletdrop up to 450m, closerange capability m24 - large zoom, zeroing, dmr ammo can be split m 107 - one hit, zeroing, mag size, common ammo, range (find a lot of mags in storage halls) as 50 - one hit, ammo 107 compatible, nato antimaterial, can destroy buildings, range

I get killed by a hacker at least once a day if I play more than 3-4h, but this doesnt annoy me as much as ghosters and all the faggots running around with as50TWS. Today my team went to cherno as I saw a group of 3 guys in ghillies. I took my m24 out and watched what they are doing. One of them dropped his back pack and they then all picked it up, came back and pulled as50TWS out. Just before I could shoot them down all 3 disconnected. I met my team of four in a barn and as we were checking if team TWS is back we saw all the zombies in the fields. We spotted 4 guys in the fields all had as50TWS (this beige scope is too obvious) we started exchaging fire. As soon as I hit the first guy with my m24, alt+f4 ^^ - we dropped 3 of them as we noticed one guy in front of the barn spawning there. He got killed and another guy spawned in the barn (genius) with us. We killed him too and lost 2 guys in the firefight. We thought all right the air is clean we waited around 10 mins for the other guys to come back to us. We checked the dead guys and all had as50TWS (what else) since then we renamed cherno into TWS City. As we left the barn there was people spawning or teleporting all around us, shooting at us taking again 2 guys out. Me and one guy run into another barn to leave the server as one of our team said he's in balota and already being shot at by as50. We run there and shoot a guy under a tree with a AS50TWS again. We checked his name and it was the first guy we shot at the cherno barn firefight. A few minutes later (yes we were expecting his team to spawn behind us) we changed position and saw people spawning in, behind the snipers position around 200m . They were ghosting as every team was we engaged today. That was way more annoying then just being teleported into the sea. You think you are fighting a legit firefight but people just dc & reposition them selfs while others keep you in postion by supressive fire. BTW total kill count of TWS douchebags today was 9 confirmed. There were way more who shot AS50 but we didnt get to loot the bodies so TWS is not conifirmed but I'm 99% sure they had it. oh and the favorite secondary seems to be g36 SD or C or camo and such these days. ps. saw the monky monitor a few times today.....thats a pile of bs too..

you join a server fuck up the whole admin camp & steal all vehicles......hive rollback. server doesnt spawn enough as50's - tweak the hive admin doesnt want other people to get military loot - tweak the hive all your work lies in the hand of an admin - I would rent my own server if hives go private as everyone would do because it gives you all the power, players would spread over all the servers... central hive is awesome since I can join my fiends on any server and dont need to spent 20h to collect all the stuff my worst game experiences were on public hive servers like lingor & takistan
