Me and my pal fuelled up our chopper and decided to give it away + have some fun. The plan was circle around & land in cherno/electro and defend as long as possible. Problem? yes, no one was there. We flew around the whole map and the only people we saw were sitting on the rim (maintaining vehicles? or w/e ) or around the woods in NWAF. That was around 8pm on a server with ~25 players ingame. Not a single one of them around the coast or big cities. Also berezino, stary sobor... empty. We endet up circling the NWAF and landing in the middle! of it. I wasnt even shooting at people just watching their behavior. They were all after the chopper and started killing each other in wester woods of the NWAF. I saw a ghillie guy shooting a 3 man team through my scope. As 2 of the team tried to run out of the forrest I shot some bullets in front of their feet so they return to the forrest and they did. Got killed there by ghillie guy. Then I got shot by as50 :( So I couldnt watch how the fight ended or who got the chopper. Also only 6-7 ppl died during this fight. Pretty boring tbh since I expected everyone coming for the chopper ^^. Is this how ppl play the game now? Just camping the forrests around NWAF and hang around their camps? Only fresh spawns in cherno, electro? Probably it was a bad time or just the wrong server..... Oh and btw, I got picked up and drove back to the NWAF to loot my body and no one bothered to loot it? gps, 2x nvgs, l85.....

@ iordania - pm me about when you can get on, on thursday, I can meet you almost any place also I will destroy my tent which has guns in it. fn fal, bizon, m16 acog and dmr & ghillie if its still there, I wasnt there since dayz so maybe its gone. My only request is not to shoot me afterwards since I want to keep my silenced pistol on my character. @ gambles - you are absolutely right, when I began to play this game I got into awesome gunfights and intense situations even on server with very low players on. Now we are just riding or flying around the map doing stupid stuff. Joining on a full 50-60 man server ends up being teleported into air or some place or nuked....

Today CS:Go can be bought :o. If anyone is near devils castle and wants 2xNVG's a coyote backpack, l85 +3mags, as50+2mags maybe not full, 4 svd clips, 5 bizon mags, rangefinder, map, military flashlight you can have my stuff. I wont be playing dayz much until they fix vehicles, tents & graphic bugs I'm in Europe and wont be online next 24h but after that I'm glad to pass my gear

But tents and vehicles dont save these dayz.

So we finally got a choppa! We fuelled it up, parked it in our base and said we are going to bed (2 am). My brother told me we should go raid some camps really quick and then show off our toy in cherno XD -> really bad ideo mkay.... we raided a big camp which was easy to see from the sky due to vehicles picked up gps, ghillies, m14, m16 with grenadelauncher :D..... then on our way to cherno we made a quick stop over electro where we could see some guys running around with flashlights. They hid in the church and we were hovering next to the church screamin get to the choopaaa but no one moved or came outside. We decided to go to cherno because we expected more players to be there. The moment our choppa turned away someone came out of the church unloading his AK but he didnt hit anything. I swapped seats and began unloading the m240 on that sucker and told the pilot to circle around and watch the player list if they disconnect. As he tried to be a hero and fly between the houses he crashed the chopper straight into the firestation. All I saw was a big fireball and the deathmessage. The guys in chruch must have been WTF watching us noobs crash. :D I had fraps running but didnt record. hallo jens after you rolled back 76 I cannot get on the server anymore :( any suggestions? - stuck on loading screen.... - now it shows 1.7.2.5 again....oh well - 1.7.2.5 works well, but as usuall no tents or vehicles on server until server hits 1200 i guess - now the server shows 1.7.2.4 again but it is 1.7.2.5 #it is a bug in dayzcommander ^^ (I guess nothing wrong with the server besides the unscheduled restart/crash around 10:00 server time which removed the tents/vehicles.... Question: Does the tent/vehicle disappear bug appear on the other servers aswell?

yeah, I noticed the vehicles and that they reappear after legit server restart......got me scared there once or twice...btw, you want to take a look at the log files since the two guys stated above were spawning chopper and weapons. Also one guy teleported himself behind me

graphic bugs got worse for me besides the glitches @ berezino, I just got massive glitches from the bridge south of berezino, zombie behaviour seems to be better now tho

@ factor - tbh I woudnt be suprised if it was "coincidence", since everytime I was about to steal a chopper servers restart lol. why would the server restart 3 - 5x.....but whatever I'm over it and also used to it

DE 76 please kick your admins butts for being douches, after I shot one of them Fantom (Flost1k disappeared misteriously), your guys decided to shut down server to prevent us from taking their choppers both names were on the server and as soon as wheater me or my mate connected the server went down again...and again...and again besides that, I love your servers - smooth and always up to date

- watch the server restart times announced - admin wouldn not abuse since he's never on ;) (not seen him yet) - if you see hacker you could post in the wiechers.ws topic name, date, what happened or mail the admin

All I noticed that all tents are gone on my home server - also all vehicles gone too :(

So I've seen the first chopper coming from cherno XD and first think I thought was shoot this thing.. so I've loaded the as50 with a mag of nato and fired 2 shots. I must have hit it but nothing happened besides the chopper changed direction. My question: Can a chopper be shot with the as50 + nato mag & how many shots does it take to take it down ? Where do you have to hit it? What gun is best for the job? Also: I've tried to take a screeny with the print button but it didnt take a sc of the game but instead of my desktop ^^ Do I have to start through steam to be able to take a sc?

haha this time i was smart and waited for the guys to come out of the chopper, shot 2 of them and my brother took the third out...got nuked by a hacker before i could get my hands on the chopper tho...

no I didnt and I found a heli crash site 3h ago which had a 7.62 ammo box with 10 mags for svd ^^ dont have nvg anymore since i joined a hacked server and was nuked :(

dont forget abusing admins and alt+f4 cowboys - just played for 3 hours and as firefights started I kept watching playerlist and you could see them disconnecting one by one.....

I have a problem here after shooting me some ghillie guy stacked with good stuff i picked up a rangefinder and nv goggles. I got interupted looting by 2 of his pals shot at them & both alt+f4 (what fucking else). I ran to a safe lockation and dc'd a bit later a friend asked me to play with him and as I join a server i wanted to brag with my new toys but i have rangefinder & binoculars now ^^. I cant get the rangefinder to work since it always brings up the binoculars. tried to remove the binoculars but didnt work....any help?

tried that already didnt (cant) drop them :( I fixed it by changing server and tried again....worked - thanks insertFacePalmhere()

today me and my mate found 2 guys riding a bus as they went out to refuell I unleashed the l85 while my mate was closing in .....not necessary to say that as soon as the first bullet hit both guys alt+f4 like true badass mofos. 1 minute later the terminator himself coming straight at the bus to reclaim - not necessary to say that as soon as the ak of my mate went ratatatat he also alt+f4'd like a baws. So we take the bus rambo style rush the ne airfield to fuell it up to full and as soon as we cruise along the coast server restart! what a fucking suprise! The server restarts around 14:00 gmt+2 / 20:00 gmt - that shows how retarded I am // ....so the restart was announced but the alt+f4's were not....
