Having possibly same, or at least a similar issue. Anytime I try to load into a server the game just stops responding. Rather annoying. Have even tried uninstalling/reinstalling DayZ and verifying intergrity local cache files. Always have to go to task manager to close out dayz, alt+f4 doesnt even work.

Yes, the barbed wire, in this game, is useless at the moment. It is only used as a griefing mechanism; The barbed wire serves no purpose for survival currently, in a survival game. Maybe one the game goes standalone, and it can either hold back zombies or at least hinder their movement while causing damage, will it be worth being in game. I would also say that sandbags should be removed as well, if barbed wire is going to be removed.

Got in a tractor that appeared to be next to a tree. Got in and the hull and eng were damaged some, but not enough for immediately concern. As soon as I try and move out of the area, 2 feet and it decides to break down, throwing me out knocked out and I bleed out. Had every tool you could get, NVG's, M19 with 7 mags, 24 slot backpack, M4A1 CCO SD with 8 clips, plenty of medical supplies...

The worst part is, I really wish I could just equip the hatchet as my secondary weapon instead of primary, that way at least it would be one shot silenced kill as a zombie glitchs to me and gets a hit or two in

The problem is, the only way id go back to using a 9mm, is if I find a G19, Cause it currently takes almost full clip to over a full clip of ammo depending on how far out they see you, and if you miss one or two shots due to the horrible pathing/jerkiness of zeds. I used to favor the AKS 74 as my primary, but going back to trying to use Akm cause they are 2 shot dead at far range. not even going to bother with pistols until they start being useful.

Yeah, I am not even having fun with these dmg reductions. On purpose or a bug, if they stay they make it so ammo is a wasted slot you just stock up on bandages and hope to not get knocked out. When you can only hold so many clips and each zombie takes about a half clip or more, its messed up. I just unloaded a entire marakov on a zombie and had to reload to kill it.
