Sure, but you learn real quick and in 3-5 hrs later, you'll facepalm at at this thread.
My advice for nubs would be to separte your first hours into learing how to lose zombies. Don't bother with anything else until you know this. Intentionally aggro zombies and practice evasion by zig-zagging through fences, buildings, bushes, etc.

Yeah, the game mechanics alone make it harder to play solo, but that's what I like about it. In fact, it's the reason I enjoy playing solo over with a group. It's more satisfying surviving and prospering alone.

I was making my way down the Electro firestation stairs and this guy had his back towards me looting a pile. What's even worse is I was just shooting zombies upstairs seconds earlier
Tip: always clear the building you are in before looting.

M107 simply because it's a one-hit-kill rifle. And with variable zeroing up to 1200m it's easier to find your holds compared to a DMR which you actually have to practice for. Ammo scarcity is a non-issue IMO as you shouldn't be spamming .50bmgs anyway and is why Alice Packs and the like, exist (to hold a second primary).
