I don't mind younger people at all. I think helping them is neat. On the other hand, I'm not one for forming groups, so you wouldn't really know it. -
Tin cans are really more of the equivalent to .45 pistols now since you can't use them very quickly and you hold less ammo but they do more damage than 9mm pistols. Anyway, if you aren't using an m16 family weapon, a sniper, an axe, a winchester, or an AKM, you just got shafted.

Some of them, yeah. Don't even bother getting into how you feel about the changes because we've got plenty of that. Just hope that Rocket slaps someone and fixes it within the next week. Until then, don't use most guns, or hell, just use a hatchet. -

Rocket wants it too, but the mod is still extremely early in its life and any significant clothing options are unlikely to even be added before the mod switches to a new platform. -
Everyone in a group will try to hoard vehicles. It's just what people do. Once they have them, everyone else on the server is screwed. Pretend vehicles don't exist in the game because even finding one is just asking to get shot out of it.

Servers do seem to like eating rarer guns more often than common ones, and that's not just because you remember it more. I've only ever had servers selectively fail to save AS50s and SVDs and such. Whether I got the gun shortly before I left the server or quite a long time before, only the best guns have ever disappeared once I joined again. As for the AK, well, that's probably just geometry fucking you. At least you didn't drop it on an upper floor of a building because then it's bound to disappear. -
A friend of mine has killed an awful lot of people with a Winchester mainly because after the first shot they're fucked up enough to be unable to do anything before they get shot one or two more times. Of course with an AKM the same thing happens even more quickly, but with either one you'll probably win if you hit first.

Obviously it's not fun having vehicles work the way they do now, but I don't have any suggestions as to what should be done to avoid farming and hoarding them. The only pro at all is that somewhere, there's a big pile of dreams to ruin, but half of the time messing with a vehicle horde will just get you kicked by an admin anyway. Seriously, even the people hoarding vehicles don't have fun because of it. It's something you do because it's a goal and because you feel that doing so gives you more control. It's the natural thing for any committed group of people to aim for, but it's not enjoyable.

You're supposed to put topics like this in the Bandit Campfire or Survivor HQ subforums. Anyway, I'd still like to group up, ideally. Mainly to help people out. Too many people in a group, though, and you've got problems with trust. The last guy I tried to join up with was just weird and didn't even play the same way (in that he was a hyperactive axe murderer). Also I don't really have a goal in the game anymore except to shoot people at the coast. Also also, you made me register, yay you!
