I like the idea of being able to ID players and there clans. When you can't ID them in any way. They become faceless and nameless. I personally would like to know who killed me for future reference. I also would like to know what clan he was in so when he jacks me and I see his clan later I can jack his members. Good stuff like that.

I've always disliked the idea of taking over towns. It comes with a lot of other gameplay issues. Also it seems to me that any large player run place would eventually be over run. I mean it wouldn't have been a zombie apocalypse if people could hold there towns and cites.

Even though I don't understand how you could hold interest in pve only I'll think there should be one because some people just want to win 24/7 and the only way that's going to happen is play against the AI only. I'm not sure if a zombies have ever killed me.

Truly random loot. The dayz database map should not show you what type of loot you can get and it's location. If you see military vehicles you could assum you would fine military loot but it shouldn't tell you on the map. Also as you travel the map should be more detailed in those areas because you have been there and you know. -
Zombies are cool and simple. add 1 rare zombie/something undead. Here's what Im thinking. 1 zombie beast. Bigger & faster. Roams the entire map, avoids towns and cites. Hunts players from a far bigger range then a normal zombie. Announces its presence at a distance via a massive roar. Give it an unfair advantage health/damage. Keeps the players loot. Imagine being off in the woods near night fall alone and hearing that roar.

Yes they are not saving. However your not really finding it if your just resetting the server. What if someone has found it and moved it. By resetting the server you've been unfair. Unimpressive

I'm not so sure. If the day night cycles were short enough it wouldn't be an issue. But the game does need a dificulty boost.

Well from experience in an older game they allowed players to place houses in the open world and it rocked. However the homes were loot able. Within a month houses were every where. But soon they just became empty landscape objects. No one stored anything in them. They became useless. As hardcore as the game was the housing aspect was no fun and in turn no one cared about them. It wasn't until they made houses lockable that people began to use them. Then they became fun and they were a major part of the gameplay. My point is it may be realistic to have your shelter loot able but in terms of gameplay why would you waste time building something that's useless. Traps or no traps delaying people from taking your stash will be useless in the end. From my experience your shelter should be secure but not permanent upon death. -

I know it can't be changed but I think people simply move to another server when it starts to get dark. I think it should be shorter and people should have to survive through the night. Amagine the possible gameplay changes with a smaller day night cycle. Zombies being stronger at night or being forced to scavenge a town during the night. As is day/nights cycles are pointless. I never see anything but day. Night servers are empty.

My biggest concern is what happens to your shelter when you die. If it stays put its a down fall. If people can loot it then it's useless -

I like the idea of having a timer to log off. But it should be higher. Like 2min. Other wise maybe have a camp fire or tent would allow instant logging. The dayz night/day cycle blows and take away from the game.
