    I've actually had like 2 or 3 run after me that I aggro'd in a city as I was leaving. They just randomly stopped following me after about 2 minutes. This has happened many times and I am not trying to get out of their line of sight, I'm just running without paying any attention to them. lol

    Lol. Intense. You should try Nether. It's not animals that try to kill you, but shit spawns randomly and a lot.

    Hardcore Vs Regular

    Yes, this is explained like 3 times in the posts above yours. If you join a regular server you have one character. If you join a hardcore server you have another character. So essentially, you have 2 "character slots". I like this because on the regular server, I have a fully geared guy that I use to play with friends and on the hardcore server, I have another character that I use to play when I solo.

    Oh yea? So connecting on a hardcore will spawn a new character different from the regular servers? That is pretty awesome. I wonder if they will keep it that way.

    I would still love another character slot. Lol. Sure, people might want to use it to exploit somehow, but there are ways of stopping that using a timer between switching characters etc.

    So is the patch on the live servers now? I loaded up DayZ and see my character that I had before in the menu screen. I thought by loading up after setting up the beta option, I would be forced to start with a new character for the experimental side.

    I last logged fully geared with a fully upgraded M4, can opener, etc. That was about 2 weeks ago and I haven't logged in since. Lol, I don't think I'm going to log back in until this patch so I can hopefully spawn in with an M4 that I hope is a more "rare".

    In order to go from Experimental back to Stable, all I have to do is go back to "NONE" in the Beta selection in Steam?

    Yea, 2 hrs would be enough time to get some gear and die, if you know where you're going. Just do it! You won't regret it.

    2. Prepare to run. A lot. You might as well call this Running Simulator 2014. Lol, but I still love this game and would recommend to a friend! :thumbsup:

    I actually don't think this is THAT bad of an idea. I usually automatically shoot down all "quest" type suggestions, but, a few of these wouldn't be so bad. Power Plant/Gas Station thing... not too shabby. I agree though, let's get the main game going first.

    There is so much that needs to be done before this could be considered. If I had to choose though, I like the underground stuff and being able to take over buildings that are already placed. I agree that your gear should never be 'safe'.

    I wish there was more rivers and canals that went inland, that way boats are a little more useful.

    That'd be a somewhat rare occurrence. Your other character just happens to be armed and ready where you got killed? Even if this was a problem, then they could easily implement a time delay between switching characters. However, I do agree that it should remain one character. The only reason why I would want a second character is to use him only to play with friends. One solo, one multiplayer.

    No Sir. I literally just forced myself to play in first person. I still had the option to switch the third.
