    Actually the 3rd try worked for me. Now I gotta figure out my stupid monitor issue... when it thinks the screen is "dark" my monitor turns black and I can't see shit. I have a Asus 32". I even have the "forced" setting turned on from my Catalyst (AMD) control panel... sigh. Okay, I think I fixed this problem too. On the Asus monitor there is a setting called "ASCR" and I turned that off and ta da... all fixed. What good are you guys? Lol just kidding. :beans:

    DayZ: Origins (RELEASED)

    Hey all, I downloaded DayZ Origins via DayzCommander and I also updated ALL that needs to be updated. When I load up Dayz Origins, the screen loads all the way and then I hear sound (like rain or ocean etc) and then the sound stops and i'm pretty much hanging at the loading screen still...It's been like this for the past 10 minutes...? I tried CTRL+ALT+DEL and tried again, but same situation. Any ideas?

    Yea, they might have changed the map and changed it back to what you were last playing on. That will cause you to lose your crap and start over. The one thing I learned long ago and once you understand it, you will live a more stress free life is... Don't get attached to your gear! :)

    Not sure if it's a lot programming or whatever, but I see it as, why waste the devs time building this "immerse" in-game chat system when you have a third party program that does all that already. Plus, it might be a disadvantage to you, but to each their own.

    I liked someones idea of having weapons with no scopes and only iron sights. That would make things a lot more competitive. I would agree on removing all sniper rifles period. I love them, but they do affect the way I play.

    Spray paint will definitely be abused if they give the player has the option to upload their own images. You'll be seeing a bunch of vaginas and justin bieber spray painted on the walls. Lmao. I like the spray paint idea, but the player has to select from pre-loaded designs. If they did implement this, their would have to be a lot of different designs in my opinion to make this feature 'cool'.

    I like the cargo pants idea too. Even a shirt with a pocket could add 1 slot or a sweater with open slots for your hands can add a slot. Pretty neat idea.

    The devs creating Suvarium which was basically supposed to be STALKER 2 asked the community how they should make their game, I said... Copy Stalker: Shadow of Cherno/Call of Pripyat as far as setting. Keep the dark eerie music and sound effects. And smash all that into DayZ! lol.

    Yea, some servers don't allow the blue marker. The shift+click is useful.

  21. I think they are trying to drawn attention elsewhere and not toward the SA anymore. My opinion. They also removed the "stand alone confirmed" thread and made another thread called "stand alone discussion" (i think) but now that one was removed as well. Trying to get the community to talk about something other than the SA. Which sucks, because that's ALL I want to talk about.
