    Yea, I still prefer to use DayZCommander so I can install updates for Arma 2, DayZ and additional maps etc. Even though I love Valve/Steam and I would otherwise go through them for everything else.

    Suggestion for Crossbow sights (and explosive arrows)

    Poison tip. Hallucinogenic tip. Paralyze tip. Of course these would only be used on players... maybe with the exception of the paralyze bolt. I like the idea of multiple bolt tips though. This got me thinking... Use paralyze bolt on a human and then tie them up and use them as zombie bait! I would love for this also to not have a negative effect on you since technically you didn't kill them. ;)

    Well what do you do now in DayZ? I stack up on food and water, get a good enough gun, and take out random people at my discretion. Then I finally get tagged and do it all over again. Been doing this since the release of the mod. You get bored and you find yourself a different objective (self quest) or check out the new maps or mods to the already modded game. With the SA, you will have many new things to explore just by it being a new game. On top of that, you have the devs adding new content. By the time you get bored, there will be mods to the SA or different maps etc. Ta da!

    Lol oh man. It took me a while to figure out how to make a fire. I think I actually figured it out by accident. It doesn't matter to me if there is or isn't a basic tutorial. If there isn't, I'm sure people will pick up the inventory, movement controls, etc. If worst came to worst there is always the control settings to figure some stuff out.

Nothing crazy, but describe what kind of FPS the game will be. http://kotaku.com/5984648/everything-i-know-about-bungies-next-first+person-shooter-destiny A "Shared World Shooter," Not An MMO Bungie's engineering lead, Chris Butcher, immediately debunked the MMO theory when he took the stage on Wednesday afternoon to tell us about all the new technology used in the game. In fact, it's so far from an MMO, he implied, that they've coined a new term for this game. You can call it "the world's first shared world shooter," to the crying protest of games like DayZ.

    I'm sure at the beginning of the game they will sorely focus on a 100% player dependent game (like the mod), and they might even keep it this way forever. However, you never know... they might add in-game content later if people are getting bored. I personally think that they will add updates to the game that will keep everyone on their toes for a while without needing quests or NPC driven tasks.

    I gotcha. Yea, I guess a disclaimer of the SA coming out soon would be nice. Still doesn't negate a free game though. Yea, my estimate was based on what I've read within the forums. I'm not really sure if maybe my currency might have been wrong. I'm sure someone else will chime in on what the estimated price is.

    You buy Arma II (+OA) for $30 usd. The SA might cost from as low as $15 to $25 (just estimating) which doesn't really break the bank in my opinion. Even if you're a high school kid without a job. Stop putting "$5 on it" or don't go out on the weekend for one or two weeks and save that money your mommy and daddy give you to purchase the game. Simple. IF you're an adult with a job... no excuses like above. Stop crying about getting the game for free... not gonna happen.

    The only positive '3rd person' brings is purely cosmetic. I personally just like looking at my character, lol. However, I do agree that 1st person should be the view used.
