After not running into hackers too badly in a few weeks of DayZ, I have a frustrating experience at the end of a pretty awesome play session. Welcome to DayZ. Standalone soon please Rocket!

We try Namalsk some more. This time I find a vehicle and after a couple of firefights, I make my way into the underground bunker in Namalsk.

Yeah the temp indicator is really bad. I have no damn clue how it works.

All of the tutorials I've been seeing are already outdated. Some are from when you still started with a pistol, some are from when there was still no hatchet in the game, and some are from people fully geared with a silenced M4 and Ghillie suit. The purpose of my making "another" tutorial is that it's not just a tutorial, it's me playing the game from the start with no weapon or gear. It's so people can see how to sneak around, survive, and gear up when they first start to play DayZ. Finally, I beat DayZ. After a bunch of annoying glitches, of course.

Between last video and this one, we managed to find not one, but 5 different cars, 2 helo wrecks(one with an AS50), and made it most of the way across the map.. We only kept one vehicle, a UAZ, but when we logged back on today, it was gone, of course. So our goal for today is to move to the NW airfield and get better weapons, then find another car...

Hey the last guy that was going after that backpack got shot in the head by an AK47!

After saving Private Dumbass, we are on our way to meet up with another member when we get ambushed.

In part 2 of Saving Private Dumbass, we meet up with a 5th 15th member, Cpl Valentino, then proceed to head in the direction of Calamar having many adventures on the way while looking for a hospital.

I keep getting requests to show my "gearing up" process, so here is a video from me starting on the beach, getting fully geared, and having many a shenanigan with fellow 15th members.

I decided to do something a little different this video, which will be nice for the people that want longer videos. I decided to show the entire section of gameplay from when we first take fire to the final shot. This was to show the thought proccess, coordination, and tactics we use as a two man team to approach the threat.

Oliver and I find ourselves in Elektro after a fresh start while there's a bandit running around with a lee enfield. Normally not a big deal but there are nearly no gear spawns on the server.

I finally get an L-85, instead of killing a guy with one then being chased off by sniper fire, and my god. It's ridiculous. This particular video starts when I'm sitting in teamspeak listening to Benevento and Oliver play. They log in where we last logged out at and almost instantly get into a firefight and Benevento dies. I needed to leave for work, but I wasn't about to let Benevento's death go unpunished, so I logged in and I was less than 200m from the bastards position. It's a shame that the proliferation of hackers is the reason I got one instead of finding one legitimately. Last night in my play session(not the one in this video) I was in a firefight where 100% of people had NVGs, and there were 2 MK48s, an AS50 TWS, DMR, and another L-85. I'm sure it was all 100% legit... right? :/

I almost never run by myself. When in a group it's spotting capability is absolutely ridiculous. As for it's damage and range and accuracy, they're all identical to the other 5.56s(m4, m16, ak74s(5.45), etc) except that you can change the zero on the L85, which makes it even better. But what makes it unbalanced is the fact that, in a game where stealth and being able to hide from your enemies is paramount, it removes a lot of that concealment from the equation. As for the duped tent, I can't agree. It had 6 weapons and each weapon had a number of magazines for it, and NOTHING else. I can't believe those items weren't hacked in, especially given the tent's location. And lastly, it had an AS50 TWS in it.

Note: This is probably the best DayZ fight I've ever been in. You will not be dissapoint. During some uneventful play sessions, Oliver and I come across a player camp that is loaded with gear. NVGs, GPSs, all sorts of weaponry. We assume it's all hacked but we take it anyways. I end up with a m249 and Benevento comes along later and gets a G36SD. I can't use a backpack with my m249 and I later discover that it's because it is in fact a hacked in weapon. So at the beginning of today's video, my goal is to replace the 249. Luckily, I am able to replace it with what I believe is the best weapon in DayZ on the NW airfield. Once I replace my weapon, I need a backpack, so we head to the nearby town of Vybor to see if we can find one for me. That's when things get... interesting.

Benevento and I can't find any action in Elektro, so we go up to Sniper Hill...

What started as a video with commentary quickly became a Let's Play video. There are many very exciting things that happen to me in this video. Such as me being shot at, being shot at again, being shot at some more, a bicycle, an attempted axing, being shot, being shot at, and being shot again. p.s. I get shot at in this video... maybe because I'm in Cherno.

I link up with Unit Members Sgt Benevento, Sgt Oliver, and Cpl Leber and we move to Cherno to stock up on meds. It goes about how you would expect.

In this video, I take the AS50 I acquired last video and snipe some with it in Cherno, but then we realize that global chat is on and we can actually HELP people instead of kill them, which was our original intent in DayZ.
