Ya you might be right but its as pointless as the other actions :-( -
Another thing I would probably do (if I made the game) is buy the hacks, find out how they work and implement a way of tracking the people using the hack and then every week ban their account/game... And watch them cry..... In fact that is probably the easiest and cheapest way of doing this :-)

Good question and the answer is yes..... The videos you are talking about could be a few things:- 1) private run servers that has no monitoring because they aren't connected to blizzard and rely on admin/server owners to ban 2) are fake videos that make you download a program that gets you account details and passes them to a farmer who then hacks you account and abuses it till it gets banned. 3) they are later caught like I said, so ya great video but 3 week later no more account.... I watched a video of a very well known gold farmer and he talks about this stuff and says blizzards security is by far the best in any game and is impossible to hack.... He then goes onto say he buys 1000's of stolen keys/account details that have been stolen from other websites with no or low security (people use same email and password for wow and other websites) or from the people who download these "fake hacks" and it steals it from their PC.....

Yes that's awesome.... But no one is saying wow isn't 100% cheat free, so I'm guessing I'm right on this..... So why can't we do same in dayz? 100% has to be better than 99% (being genourous)

THIS hasn't been talked about at all...... Counter Strike runs VAC correct? And has hacks correct? So it doesn't FULLY stop hacks.... So I'm asking what does wow do different? And I know the SA uses a different engine that will stop "scripts" but not "hacks" Please keep on my topic, if possible please.... And not making up your own thinking you know what I really "mean"

Ok I have silly? Question/thought..... I think, I THINK world of Warcraft don't have hacks or cheats.... Now i havent played it for around 10 years because there customer services suck arse so i could be wrong, but i didnt remember any cheating in the game... Yes they have bots to farm etc, but that's not the same as an aim bot or always critical damage given or wall hacks etc Why is this and can't it be implemented in dayz as well? As its a MMO with info? Stored server side? Again could be wrong about similarities as I don't know (it just seems the same unlike, say CS) They even have detections in place that find bots etc and do eventually ban them but they are using free trail accounts etc..... So they make a new free account...... But if you had to buy DayZ every time you got banned as there are no free trials, then people would surly stop hacking? ------------------------Edit------------------------ Sorry didn't make clear that I KNOW stand alone is different to the mod and so scripts won't run... And I know it's going to use VAC which I also know isn't 100% or even 80% fool proof... Also I know that dieting on CS to a aim to/wall hack is annoying but not the end of the world.... On DayZ it is the end and that've to start all over again after surviving for days so cheats effect you far worse in this game.....

Hang on... Sorry if this is total rubbish, but don't you have the key on a piece of paper and you just reload and it will work?? And if its through steam then steam has you info stored and you can get it back that way?

Arghh The more I read this the more I get frustrated at how people state "FACTS" that aren't facts and are just clearly made up nonsense or a guess based on nothing and just say they are facts without even the slightest bit of knowledge or brain power.... I don't think I could ever bring myself to post a FACT without being 100% sure of it.... It just makes you look like an idiot -

WTF are you talking about? You better be under the age of 10 and that's why you have limited knowledge of how long things have been around!!! The Zombie idea has been around for more than 10 years.... I remember having a conversation at school with a mate of mine saying the only "fictional" creature he was scared of we're zombies, because they just keep coming at you and they don't stop, and if you kill 1 there are 1000's to replace it... And that was over 21yrs ago.. White Zombie (film) was made in 1932 (way before walking dead)....... As for orcs and elves being introduced to the world by Blizard is so far beyond wrong it's unbelievable... Blizzard was established in 1993 now they didn't release Warcraft on day 1 of being established butlers say they did and give you the benefit....... Here are some examples of other places Orcs/elves turned up before that date:- Games workshop :- established 1977 Hobbit :- started writing in 1919 released 1937 (nearly 60years before blizzard even existed) -

Like I said it is probably me being thick.... But why couldn't there be a prison or an underground facility with zombies in it??? When you saw the walking dead episode.... Did you think "well that's BS, a prison full of prisoners "? P.S I appreciate you talking to me about this, I'm surprised no one else is talking on this topic..... Ya... And I don't think there is a HUGE difference between building these bases and having a "pre built" base that you have a walking dead prison experience :-) -

LOL LOL LOL...... Instead of telling me to go play another game, if you don't like this idea, YOU really need to go find another game.... Why I hear you ask?? Because that example I gave you of underground bases in the UFO style/format with defences etc IS GOING TO HAPPEN How do I know? Because Rocket said so!!! And I think he has a bit more power of the game than you do.... But I could be wrong? P.S have you seen the program's I'm talking about? Because when I saw that I thought I would love to be able to do that in this game, hence why I think something like this would make the game good..... -

Well IMO if you know what a zombie is then you know you have to take out the head..... Otherwise it's a vampire?!? Seriously though there is not 1 example of a zombie I can think of where the rules are always take out the head.... Other "fantasy" creatures have variants like in twilight the vampires don't burn up in the sun they "glow" which could easy be misinterperated as "burns up" in folk tales... Which I actually like this twist....... That's just one example but there is no variant on zombies... -

UFO bases= http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/images/xcom_base.gif You never seen this before? And you can build and expand as needed and you have the resources.... (In UFO u expand in the square areas provided)..... So as you can see they can spread in what ever direction you want and you can have open areas or tunnels..... -

So what are the bases supposed to be like? I pictured them to be like the UFO bases but a bit more scary (as in run down, damp) areas that you can build extra areas as you get materials etc... And you can add extra security features like cameras, locked gates, automated defended etc?? I'm glad you like the idea... And that's what I meant by "it has to be done correctly".... And that's why I only came up with the "RAW" idea and didn't write down everything in stone in great detail...... I just want to do things like the prison clearing so you can own that area.... We already do some thing like this when we go searching in the big city's... But you don't "own" anything after it and as soon as you kill the zombies they come back.... No real satisfaction in it. -

He's also making them instances so people can't " teleport" into the middle of the base by going to that location on another server... The above examples you gave underground base and underground instanced...... I don't see the difference there.... Let me ask you to clear something up for me:- Do you not like the idea of a team of people working together to search and clear an area? Or do you not like the idea it's instanced? Or something else? -
