No man it will not work. Just download it at night, you're getting a new PC right. Well DL on steam when you're asleep, school, bathing or whatever. Have both machine untill you have the new one ready.

What would happen to thoes playes who get DC for ligit reasons? Would this apply to them?

Dayz suck for me now, even when I play on a recuit server. It's no fun, for all you player who like this type of game play, enjoy it. This game is now not meant for your average player, I am just glad I kept a copy of all my 1.6 downloads so I am able to play Kronzky's single play. So much more fun...

I know of some US server have reverse time zones, but I don't remember which one they are. I am even concidering getting my own server and setting it to the setting I want to play in.

I play at night because I have a life during the day, and the only hours I get to play is after midnight during the week. Weekends it is very rare to play during the day because I a grown man with a family doing family things. I guess this game is meant for teens and college students with no day time lives.

I agree with the OP, in reality its never really pitch black. Also with all the servers being night when I play. I work from 8am - 9pm Mon. - Sat. and I only get to play from 12am (after my kids are asleep and the wife) - 3am (or till I pass out) and every server is dark. It sucks because I can't see anything, but for some strange reason I do find it enjoyable. I just wish some server would let me know that the time is reverse. If I foud more people like me I would go out and rent a server just to play in.

I understand that a lot of the players here will not like this thread but as a alpha tester I feel it's my duty to report this. I'll keep it short and sweet with that said flame suit on! I’m talking about removing every single sniper rifle except the CZ550. Also removing all SD guns and all Machine Guns and high end Assault rifles. All this should be removed, you devs preach about how important realism is and by keeping it close to reality as possible, how often would you be able to find weapons such as these in a Zed feasted world?

Same problem here I'm getting a noticeable amount of low fps ever since this new patch.

Is this really necessary!?!! It makes no sense that your temp still lowers when you're running, swimming, or just plain moving around. I understand if you’re swimming in the ocean and it’s raining at the same time or your swimming at night. Or in any of the cases when the temp is low because of weather or time of day. But when it's high noon and the sun is out a players temp should not lower. If you drinking water your temp show return to normal. And if you're really going to play this card, please add in mussels cramping, fatigue and need to sleep. Also for temp, add not to lower temp in weather if you're indoors or have found shelter. I personally thought it was senseless to hear my toon cough. Pain killers should relieve anything that hinders my toon.

I have this problem too, I played around with the video settings. I had everything on Very High and I lowered it to High/Medium on some. I also adjust it in your Arma2.cfg in your My Documents folder. look for HDRPrecision=x - higher numbers will make it more "accurate" although it's sometimes hard to notice. I have mine on 32 and it seems to work OK Edit: Do at your own risk, if it messup you dayz mod don't blame me.
