Seriously guys & gals, Gotta stop item duping, cos it just places you in the same group as the hackers, You should be playing this how its meant to be played. If you die, you lose everything and should have to start from scratch, not just run back to a friends tent and get all the survival gear, gps, nvg`s that have been "duped" in your tents. You are only cheating yourselves outta a very good game!!!

It was night time,,,, the moon was covered by the clouds. I must have been travelling at about 75mph, then outta nowhere this figure appears at the side of the road and my wing mirror on the drivers side just shatters against this figure..... i slammed my brakes on and got out to see what the feck it was, as i got closer to the figure.............. .......wait.............. .......oh fuck........ this isnt my diary............ :o ..........SHIT!!!!!!

Ok theres something not right going on with this server. I use six updater and joined this server to play, i got to the menu where you click "ok" to play the game and you recieve the files etc. On the right as it loaded The server satated that anybody that kills another player will be insta - Banned. I didnt even get to see my character in game before a message popped up saying i was banned. How exactly can they do that, I watched the server for a while on six updater, the same two people were in it the whole time, when the counter said that 3/50,,,4/50 it them bumped back down to 2/50 within seconds, it did this 3 or 4 times before the server disappeared Either the admin is a complete tosser and is just using the server for him and his mate to get gucci kit and weapons.

I wouldnt bloody know how to anyway, i get confused uploading a jpeg never mind a hack lol ;)

I am new to gaming online with servers and stuff so i dont know how things work exactly, Is this a global ban by battleye or dayz?????? the message that popped up said "You were kicked off the game. (BattlEye: Banned)" any help here on how i can reverse the ban would be much appreciated because i have not cheated in any way whatsoever.

I do agree on pretty much 99.9% of everything you said, but survivors do have a challenge and thats to avoid bandits.

Ok, right now i am beyond belief. I have recently started a new character and while i was browsing cherno for survival items when i accidently bumped into four armed to the teeth players...... Thing i am amazed at was that they did not shoot on sight, they didnt declare themselves friendly either but they didnt shoot on sight even though i had a revolver in my hand, I immediately declared that i was friendly, and over direct chat said i was going to drop my weapon then leave. .........they actually let me do it!! yeah i was now weaponless but hey still had my balls to hang on to!! If only more groups were like this, so to those guys thank you!!

Hi guys, This group seems to be exactly what i am looking for, a releaxed atmosphere for people just wanting to enjoy the game. I would like to join you if you are still looking for players. I am 25, male, from Scotland, I have teamspeak 3 although havent used it much. I am used to the day Z game and have been playing it for some time, although i think its time to try and join up with people cos i am sick of getting killed looting on my own. This game has to be better playing with other people who are not bandits ;) I just recently died looting elektro but will be on tonite with a new character if you are interested? What server do you guys play on, if you could pm me those details that would be great?

Okay before you say it, i am not whining okay ;) I have been playing this game for a few weeks now and like 99.9% of you i have died many times, losing lots of equipment etc etc. Recently though there has been a giant lack of trust between players online which is very off putting to new comers to the game. I know this because in the few weeks i have been playing I have tried "team up" with others in game so that i could have a "mutiplayer" expierience instead of a solo one. We have groups of guys running around slaying zombies and getting new loot which is part of the fun but when they come across an unarmed man whos still looking for a water bottle and hunting knife within his first ten minutes of play, they just shoot/beat the person to death!!! yup its funny to us "I watched it from a safe distance a few times", but for a newcomer to experience this is just gonna put him off this game. Lets start giving people a chance, especially if they are unarmed, let others enjoy the gaming experience before slaughtering them. you never know they might become a pretty good ally.

Ok a little bit confused. I have been playing this game for a while and died alot etc etc, but a new one happened today, i was playing, eventually found some gear and logged off a while after. Then i logged back in today and it said i had been killed by some random (cant remember name) from friendly fire, all my stuff was gone and i was in the middle of nowhere with some random guy with blood pissing out his head. Is this a glitch or was it a hacker????

I am not sure as to wether it would be better to have seperate PVP servers so that people can chose to have "deathmatch" style clan battles etc. Maybe it would give noobs a better chance at playing a "survivor" game, where the idea is to "survive" and not "deathmatch". I know there are "No Rules" in DAY Z but most players seem to just be playing solo and killing everybody on sight. Would it also be better if there was a sort of Level based play i.e, after 48 hrs of survival you have to move up to a regular difficulty server until you have survived for 168 hrs (7 days) then you have to move to veteran servers. That way noobs would have a better chance at getting used to the game in a recruit server and the guys that have lived for months on the game arent just slaughtering noobs for fun from miles away with an AS50 on the recruit servers. Anybody got any oppinions?

They could, but thats if your with them long enough for them to get a weapon, like i say, -water bottle -matches -maybe a few first aid supplies -then last give them an axe, if your still wary of them, point your gun at them and tell them to do one. they only need the supplies to keep themselves hydrated and hunger free. p.s Obviously dont give them your supplies, if they are completely unarmed help them find that stuff or give them advice on where to find the stuff. Instead of killing them straight away (even though its fun for you bandits)

Advice is the very minimum you could expect from somebody, better than death lol. No matter how much gear my character has i will still try to contact a player by typing "friend" into the direct chat, unless he is already in a group of guys with shotguns,,,,,, stay well clear. I just think people should be a little more understanding for new comers otherwise this amazing game isnt going to grow into what we know it can ;)

You are correct, they might just do that but, why not at least help unarmed people get survival items i.e -matches -waterbottle -and a hunting axe, then let them carry on alone or make an alliance, the least we can do is help them a little bit?

I have been playing day Z for a couple of days now and i would say i am pretty used to the controls now, Only problem is whenever i meet another character in game they just kill me for no reason, i always state friendly but they obviously have other intentions. I actually have no idea on how to find other characters in game either, the few that i have seen are either in groups and dont want anything to do with you so they kill you, or they just run right past you without a word. How is it possible to be in a group and make sure you end up with the same group when you play the day after,,,, is this possible?
