  1. I found that exact same gun today, but was then killed around 30 minutes after in a Thailand server at the barracks by some guy with nightvision and a nice M4. o7.
  2. I spawned in the Barracks in the NW airfield and threw a flare because it was pitch black. A survivor was staring at me then proceeded to shoot me.

    First Night.

I've been playing for almost a week and I absolutely love this game. I started off as a survivor and I typically hesitated when I saw a player because I was afraid of killing them. After several deaths at the hands of both survivors and bandits, I've fallen to the dark side. I always played in servers during the day because I was afraid of playing at night, until now. I logged in at Komaprovo after a bug, I assumed, because the night before, I was positioned at the north western airfield. Immediately, I spotted several flares. I approached the lit area but avoided entering the red haze. After an inspection, I found a group of four survivors carrying chemlights and flares. I sniped them all with my DMR, trying to practice with my rifle and my attitude towards killing innocents. They didn't have anything worth while besides a water bottle which was really needed. I then left to the NW airfield. Along the way, I found another survivor. He seemed fresh with his coyote patrol pack and makarov. I felt bad after killing thir group before so I didn't attack this player. It was fun messing with him though. I threw a flare at him and he ran away, but I stayed on pursuit. After a short run, he decided to stay in the natural dark, and didn't use any more light sources. I lost him there and kept running until I heard footsteps around me. I used the flashlight on my G17 and realized he was under attack by zombies. I wanted to save him but there ere too many. o7 my little survivor. This all took place on the Russian 4 server earlier today, if you're around. Wrote this on an iPad if there's any errors. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/577830229254126816/0EC194B59540BF12E430EEDB895FDFF13F92DC6A/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/577830229254128579/2590474F2C2F695CACC020A79506B7D4F67868F5/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/577830229254129400/E1B90142A5FAE0A59B3AB2E8F4F7E77E9C8614C3/

    Suggestion for Respawning.

    You'd be surprised.

    Anyone else like night-time better?

I prefer the night when you're avoiding the city. Just joined a Russian server as a bandit and immediately found a group of 4 players surrounding a flare. You can assume what happened next. If it was day, I would've been able to kill one, two tops, but not all four. That's the positive for the bandits. It's also safer overall because you're practically invisible if you don't sprint.

    Shooting Distances and Weapons

I'm not precisely sure about the range, but I'm certain zombies come after you if you shoot, not the position you were in when you shot it.

The #1 mayor is back in town !

Representing the community of survivors alike, I would like to thank you for the service you're doing to Chernarus. I hope you continue your legacy, Mayor, and defeat the cruel evil that is populating the country.

    MERGED: Cannibalism

I like this idea. Typically, if you eat human flesh for too long, I think that you begin to tremble often. (At least according to a few movies I've seen, for example, Book of Eli). So you could get the effect of your aim shaking when you eat, and maybe you'll need to take some painkillers or morphine to fix the effect. In exchange, your hunger will return to normal.
  10. I just triggered the respawn button on accident for the third time, and ended up losing all of my gear. I'm suggesting that a second option comes up after you click respawn, asking something like "Are you sure you want to do this?", then you'll be able to click yes or no. It tends to happen a lot when I think I have a sense of the menu and I try to disconnect or even check my video options.
