Well I was wearing a Ghillie by the looks of it, so I assumed it must have kept all of my stuff. Was there absolutely nothing ? Sorry if so.

What would be the point of Alt-A4ing after getting the death screen!?

Did you read my post? This bug is effecting people when they DIE.

I recently got killed and expected the game to spawn me as a new character. It spawned me in a new location (PRIGORODKY), but with what seems to be all my old gear (I can see that I am wearing a Ghilie suit). However, it strangely has given me 100 blood and I am unfortunately plagued with the infinite unconsciousness bug. The egg timer does not count down. Even though I got the death screen on the previous server, I am now forever stuck in this location until someone kills me. I am currently in GB 500# devgaming.net hoping that someone stumbles across me and kills me or hackers nuke the server and kill everyone. If you want some good gear (NVGs...as50 ect) come and find me. You are more than welcome to it, as long as you finish me off and end this misery!! :) (PRIGORODKY) freshly spawned by the coast GB 500# devgaming.net This is not a trap, check out my previous posts. I am having to go to this extreme since there is no current fix for those in this situation.

It is a joke. There should be an option in the player profile menu to restart your character.

I have the infinite hourglass bug too. I got killed and respawned with my ghillie suit by the coast. I have 100 blood but the hour glass is not moving! I did not DC and I got the "you were killed screen". No matter what server I try, I am forever unconscious. Is there any solution?

Unfortunately very few laptops will be able to run this game. The best thing to do is try the free ARMA 2 demo before buying the game. Those hardware tests are not very accurate.

The skins are no doubt a stopgap solution until something else can be developed. Although they don't look great and have definitely not stopped the KOS mentality, I am pleased they have returned.

I agree. The only thing I enjoy now is going to the main populated areas for some pvp action. I have done the whole surviving thing, by collecting all the tools to live off the land and then heading north, but it is boring. The game is too easy. Up north you can accumulate loads of good loot and spend ages wandering around only to see NO ONE. On more than one occasion this has happend only for me lose everything when the sever gets nuked by hackers.

After playing this game for a month, I realised that entering the cities and fighting bandits was the most fun part of this game!
