Torches! (like firey) Also look into specialized pistols, and attachment systems for all weapons :). -
Quick suggestion: Equippable torches, being able to spread a warm soft light over a region with the possibility of a melee attack as a side thing...

Ah, well you can do that. But a percentage is also an option. Yeah, that is correct, they have already said that they will go with a customized version of the base engine so :) -

IF you delete the models on your hdd the game will be corrupt and probably crash... And yes, I have actually sent in an application but so far no answer... -

You don't know what you are talking about in this aspect. CryEngine 3 is perfectly capable of handling and rendering huge open worlds, I've even imported the Cherno height map into the engine and it works perfectly fine (no objects yet, but they scale nicely to your view and location). It is also a percentage for commercial use if you want to, not a one time, block sum... -

Well most people have had many servers and play sessions ruined by it so it actually quite game-breaking. And no, I think they have fixed it already to a large extent... But if not, well then, get to it Rocket! :) -

Someone said something had obviously happened, so my reply is that the standalone has happened (with all its obligations and attention) as well as the patch being extended to 1.7.3 instead of 1.7.2.5. However, I want the frigging glitches fixed before anything else, just as a hotfix if nothing else, because this turns unplayable all too often... -
So will DayZ use Arma 3 assets at all, or make everything from scratch?

No? You can script ballistics perfectly well if you want to... And I am pretty sure the current system is quite solid as it stands though. However peeps, BI and him are making it as a standalone now, so that means that they want all the spoils, and as a result ArmA 3 engine... Take it or leave it B)

Entire SE 19 just got killed by a hacker (or something)

The entire 40 player server SE 19 (good Swedish server) just got killed by a hacker just after I killed a guy with a coyote backpack and an m4a3 CCO and an m24... Any way to get the characters back?
