I also bought Arma 2 for this MOD after watching DevilDogGamer's Youtube channel.

So I'm back on the coast after running to the NWA My regular server went down so, I joined another server and got gilligan'd! Is this to prevent server hopping/ghosting? If so it is a huge fail! Or is this just another bug?

First and foremost I am not a believer in the DayZ -Urban legend thread. I get it, Its fun to tell ghost stories around the campfire. But I had something happen tonight that made me question my belief and I'm here hoping someone can debunk it. I began around Elektro followed the coast north til I hit the northeast airfield looking for loot and vehicles. By the time I made it to the helicopter spawn sight that is directly west of Pobeda Dam, I entered a field that had a few goats and a couple cows. I shot the goats for meat and kept heading west. When I had come to the west end of the field, I had spotted what I thought was a boar. I pulled up the iron sights on it and moved in for the kill. Almost instantly it started moving like a zed crawler on speed, but it was too big to be a boar or Zed crawler. I put 12 AKM rounds into it from 150m( I would guess), only to see a cloud of black smoke hit the ground. First thing I did was a 360 check to make sure nothing fishy was going on. Then I Alt-Esc to check if my Fraps is going, of course it is not so I start fraps and I move in to see what I have killed.. I see nothing but a dark stained texture on the ground. I am uploading a video ATM, if anyone can debunk this from what I have. I would appreciate your info.

Nothing against DayZ or Rocket, but the whole you didn't pay for this mod is BS. Look at steam sales an old game like this is #1 why? Because of this mod so if you stop and use that skull of mush on your shoulders you would come to the conclusion that most did pay $30 dollars for this mod.. For 3 hours I server hopped (for research, No PVP) and went between the market and the pub... x1000 watches to 0 Box of matches. After another round of fail and about to quit for the night, something caught my eye (inner monologue) WHAT WAS THIS! COULD IT BE? NO, IT HAS TO BE THE END OF A BOLT OR A COKE CAN THAT APPEARS TO BE FALLING THROUGH THE GROUND! The holy grail was found, just a few steps and it was mine.. closer.. closer.. finally it was found..... Gun fire erupts through the window of the Market striking me several times ( as I said no PVP was involved on my part:() I DC'd with a whole lot of nothing and 1300 hp.. My feeling is still that the Box of matches are still too scarce (which hinders solo players) and I have the shittiest Luck ever. Another thing is there is basically no communication ability between players has just turned everyoine one into Bandits... Shoot first ask questions later. It kinda makes a bigger issue for survivors:( I even feel like shooting people first now.
