I think you severely underestimate people. Rocket already said cars would be a sort of "end game". Making them not so difficult to obtain seems a bit like throwing away the "end game".

We also shouldn't be ejecting a shell after loading the Mosin, but that's the animation as it is right now. Really, it should be chambered as soon as you close the bolt after loading the internal magazine. -
To add on the game trails topic, the trails should lead to water sources such as ponds and reliable creeks. It's a common tactic used by survival folk to find where two game trails come together in a "Y" shape. The stem of the "Y" tends to point towards a reliable water source.

"Search ground for kindling" Total agreement. Tried to take a non-compliant player hostage today. Had to shoot him a couple times. He didn't die, so we patched him up and were about to wake him up when he respawned and killed himself. There shouldn't be any easy outs.

Just please please PLEASE do not make them as fragile and explosion-prone as the Arma 3 vehicles.

Rocket has previously mentioned needing parts such as spark plugs and timing belts, etc. Also be able to change out parts including body parts.

First, I said sprinting. Second, you're doing it wrong. Get your energy bar bright green. 3 hours will not starve you to death if you have FULL energy. You say you're "always energized" but apparently not enough if you die in 3 hours. I've gone far longer without starving to death.

You also can't sprint at top speed for three hours straight.

Potental sawed off-able weapon: M79

As standard-issue, yes. But we still have inventory and they are still used today by a few groups. The "sawed-off" version displayed in the picture above is what's known as a "pirate gun" typically carried by special forces groups. I believe the image above actually comes from a SEAL, specifically the author of "No Easy Day" the story about the raid on Bin Laden. That being said, any sort of grenade launcher should be ultra-rare globally, including ammo. -
Leather/fur tents would be very awesome. Also, less noticable from that ugly shiny blue tent.

Bearmasks, you say? Maybe it's just me, but I thought DayZ was fun because it's hard/hardcore. Also, sims tend to be one-dimentional. You drive a train. You drive a truck. You farm a field. You hunt a deer. What if you could do ALL of that AND have excellent combat AND more?

I have a bunch of .50 cal ammo cans, most are filled with ammo and one I use to store my gun cleaning items. I also have a .30 cal ammo can I keep in the back of my truck to hold my cargo straps and bungee cords. Ammo cans make EXCELLENT storage. They are made of steel, have a rubber ring to keep out the elements, and are extremely tough. The downside is they are heavy (especially when you fill them with ammo!) and are loud opening up. I'd like to see something implimented that made a local noise every time you access something like your backpack, plus opening an item like a protector case and ammo can. Also, stashing ammo boxes in the world would be great, considering how weather-proof they are.

Gas mask makes it look more like STALKER than DayZ. Ruger 10/22? A bit low-powered for the apocalypse.

No, you're just too stupid to realize what everyone has been saying. Let me repeat it one more time. This is a MOD. This is not a fully-supported, fully-released game. It is an unsanctioned modification to an existing game, ARMAII. This MOD is in the ALPHA stage. It is NOT the end product. It is meant to test the concept and reception. Do some damn research.
