  1. If they added in the particular rifle you have pictured, I wonder if it could be used to aggro zombies and annoy players, since it's an airsoft gun.

    Player tracking

I miss seeing the bodies pile up. I do look forward to trash and body persistence coming back. It's great to see that something happened and try to guess what. Now it's just "oh look, here's a pile of ruined items".

    Change the walk up hills!

I've seen it suggested elsewhere, but running up a hill should account for inertia. For instance, in the "go outside and run up a hill with a thousand-pound backpack" examples, if you started running on flat terrain and you run to the base of a hill, you don't jerk to a sudden leisurely pace. Your inertia carries you up a short distance and you gradually slow down. Running along flat terrain and coming across a slight, small incline similarly does not cause you to suddenly slow to a leisurely stroll. And I have scrambled up and down hills while loaded with 60+ pounds of gear. It's not fun, it's not ideal, but it is doable.

I usually grab decent guns and toss them in a bush or something (if I already have one).

    Funny how that works, huh?

I can't believe people still get their panties in a twist over this.

Do you think the LRS will be removed from Mosin when...

Scopes aren't expensive. Especially the Russian-made stuff. Also, anyone with a few tools can drill and tap a couple holes in the receiver and put in a few $10 scope rings. But I'll will grant I don't know if East Euro countries with large stockpiles of Mosins do this or not. But the theroy remains that a poor-mans scope mount isn't all that unlikely.

Do you think the LRS will be removed from Mosin when...

I'd wager they'd go for more hunting/civilian-oriented guns for mounting scopes before going for the super tacticool sniper rifles. People do mount off-the-shelf scopes to Mosin models all the time, though. I would expect that to be common in a region where Mosins have been laying around for over a century. Most 91/30s have iron sights with markings that go up to 2000m. Not that it's very practical, as you're basically holding it pointing at a fairly upward angle.

How do you know it was duped?
  12. I've been having this same issue. At first it seemed like it was worse on some servers and better on others. I'll try this tonight.

    Sawn off shotgun ironsight

A bead is a type of sight. Your first argument is just nonsense for the sake of nonsense. EDIT: Nevermind. You shoot your clays and ducks your way, and I'll stick what I've been trained to do with a shotgun in a fight. Frankly, as an avid shooter and a veteran, I mistrust anyone who says to not aim down sights when engaging in combat.

Perhaps we should wait until the actual product comes out before we start criticizing it?

Gamma changing based on what you look at

It's annoying when I'm driving, but that's why sunglasses were invented. Which leads me to suggest that wearing sunglasses in the game should reduce this effect, but with the side effect of making interiors and unlighted areas darker and harder to see.

The environment to be a bigger threat. Hypothermia. Dehydration. Disease. Infection. Pestilence.

    Sawn off shotgun ironsight

Tiny bead AKA "a sight". Nice video... for clay/bird shooting. Combat techniques are a little different, considering your adversary tends to not be flying through the air. It even says so in your quote: "That's all you need when using a shotgun to hunt waterfowl, upland birds, or rabbits. " How about some more applicable advice? http://www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/gun-shots/2013/05/shotgun-shooting-tips-4-ways-improve-your-tactical-shotgun-game "Sight In Your Shotgun It is important to have the patterns centered when you are shooting. This is usually a function of gun fit, but in a tactical shotgun, you’re often using slugs, so it’s best to aim the shotgun like a rifle. For precision slug shooting, it’s critical that you zero the gun. It doesn’t matter if you have sights or just a bead—make sure everything is adjusted so the slugs hit where you want them to hit. Either install some adjustable sights or bend the barrel, but get the slugs hitting where you are aiming." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsN2AugB5pw Do not believe a thing you see when it comes to Hollywood/video games and firearms. They usually get it wrong.

    "Vehicle component design"

I think your misunderstanding is that there was no end game in the mod. The end game was what you made of it. Contrast with what the developer is stating about adding end game content to the stand alone. That is a far cry from "the end game is what you make it". As it stands now there is no end game. But, as stated innumerable times, this is alpha, so that is a pointless discussion, thus your poor example. You can't have an end game when the game is far from completion. Further, there is a difference between player end game and intended end game. You can take whatever game and set whatever goal and say "that's my end game". But that's not the same as the developer-intended end game. So, to rehash; Rocket stated vehicles were intended for end game content. End game content generally is not considered to be easily achieved in the gaming world. THUS vehicles should not be easily achieved by the player. Further, your claim that making vehicles hard will turn off the majority is completely unsubstantiated other than your own personal bias. As of now, you're making pure speculation with nothing to support it. 30 hours? Only lasting one hour? Hardly anyone will bother? Purely hyperbole with a side of whine. Sour? No. Just factual and critical.

I don't. But I do know how to look down and select "search for kindling".

    "Vehicle component design"

Rocket has already stated more than a few times that there are plans for end game type content. So that's something you'd have to take up with him. I suppose you chose a poor example then.

    "Vehicle component design"

Or it could be that you have different priorities than other people. And if you consider something you can find in a junkyard to be end game, I feel sorry for your lack of imagination. I, for one, am having fun with a community group finding tents to establish our "town" and hunting food.
