Came here to say this. It's amazing how little people know about firearms but think they know a lot because they played video games.

I do wish there was a way for you to tell at a glance who your friend is. IRL you know your friend's faces (or should, at least). If you really know your friend, you would probably know their body outline, their posture, and (depending on your experiences with your friend) how they move in a combat situation. Letting you tag friends would be a great addition.

A hatchet has been used as a weapon, under many forms and name) all throughout history. Even today. This isn't a lumber axe we're carrying around, it's a hatchet. Hatchet in the pistol slot isn't asking too much. I don't mind fast zombies so much as I do mind that they have better moves than an NFL wide receiver. I have to practially wait for them to be hitting me before I shoot, otherwise it's just dust clouds that I shoot as the zombie zigs and zags like he's actually aware that he's being shot at.

Rapid spawning is an issue, but so is proximity. I was out in the open in the dark when it started raining. I found a small shack to hole up in to wait the rain out. Took out two of three zombies near the shack (third was well on his shambling way in the opposite direction). I closed the doors to the shack, picked up an item or two, and proceeded to mess around in my inventory. Next thing I know, I hear the tell-tale moans of a nearby zombie. I quickly exit my inventory and about crap my pants. A zombie is standing right in front of me! I quickly put him down, but then a monkeyzed is now in his place! Thinking "WTF" I quickly left and found somewhere else to hide. I've also had zombies spawn directly under me while in a deer stand, making it very difficult to leave. I know most spawn points produce 3 zombies, give or take. It would be great to not have another 5 pop up right in front of you once you take those original three out! When an area is clear, it should remain clear! At least for a reasonable amount of time. It's hard enough to shoot a zombie on the run, with that erratic sprint and all, but this is ridiculous.

Aaand, the glitches are back when I changed my HDR settings. I had to go back in and restore the original file, then edit it again.

(Posted in another thread, didn't notice this one) I've been having the exact same problems. Last night I went into a military tent area with some friends and looted the placed, but we had to D/C in there for server restart. When we logged back in, I had these same glitches all over the place. I couldn't see anything, even as one of my friends became zombie chow right away. I've tried multiple servers, adjusting my settings all over the place, nothing works. And it does seem to only come up when I look in an area with those military tents.
