I72600 @3.4ghz

EVGA GTX 580

6gb of ram

[Is the main menu crashing anyone else's pc?]

Some times I am able to launch the game just fine, but about 75% of the time it just completely crashes my pc! I have no idea how to fix it but it seems to happen as my character is being loaded on the main menu. My PC doesn't blue screen or anything like that, it just shuts off and instantly begins to restart.

 

Please tell me I am not the only person with this issue.

What? I guess you have never played ArmA2 other than day z. Servers can hold multiple maps and hundreds of missions. The server admin just picks the map and then chooses which mission to play on the map. Day z could be ported to different maps.
