If so then it looks like a server side problem not your setup... have you tried going on a server thats hosted by a different host? try going on a server you would not normally play on... pick up some crap for you inventory, quit out of the game then go back in to the same server. if it still does not save your inventory, then it must be because u dont have the full versions of the game... i know someone mentioned that its happend to them on the full retail they have, but they might just have been mistaken by a bug when your inventory has been lost, it has happend to me a few times, but most of the time it works fine. Dont forget this is a mod not an official game, and there are LOTS of problems that come with it, but the devs are really pushing to get them fixed. it would really be worth it in my opinion to get the full retail copy rather than the free one. i can promise you its worth getting even with all the problems game bugs. i honestly think you wont have the inventory problem then. like i say if u have tried installing on a different PC and tried deleting cfg files, and different servers and still get the problem, then it has to be because of the free version you are using in my opinion. other than that i cant think what else it could be. Hope you get it fixed... may the beans be with you.

Try Making A New Player Profile In The Main Menu Instead Of Using The Default one. Also Delete All Your .cfg Files and saves.

well im not too sure about that, as i had this problem when i first had arma WAY before this mod, im not sure if its the game or peoples setup, as alot of people have never had this problem, which brings me to the reason why i think its a cross problem to do with the game and system configs and setups.

might work, but the problem would only return... but thanx for the tip anyway, ill try it next time. thing is u cant really do that in the middle of a firefight, or running for your life... as i said it seems to happen alot more as you aim your gun

nope i know its not this as it happens in single player also, in ARMA II ARMA OA and even the ARMA addons, its not just a DayZ issue i assume u mean the artifacting... i had this but not for a while now, just quiting the game and joining back in seems to correct that problem as a workaround but that is not the same issue im talking about in this thread

did you get this problem fixed by the suggestion above??? i have tried everything, and searched google and cant find a 100% fix for this anywhere... im told that it could be a crossfire problem, so im going to try and disable one card, if that does not work, i might try the fix above... but what i dont like is that the cfg. settings above actually lower your graphics settings, and i should not have to lower settings as my system is more than enough to cope with arma maxed out. i would put it down to crossfire and/or ATI drivers as they are useless with there drivers... typical case of drivers of ATI... work 100% on some games and not others, then u change drivers and then u get the games that didnt work to work, and the ones that did work dont... ATI suck! but i hope someone can find a fix soon for this, i dont fancy paying out £600 for a new SLI setup (which would probably be the best fix for this issue) EDIT: noticed alot of nvidia people have this issue also.... hmmmm? guess its not a driver or crossfire problem but actually the game itself maybe? i will have to start a new thread on this issue.

We all been there... take a right hook off a crazed zombie then u drop to the floor with a broken leg and have miles to go to a hospital if you aint already got morphine. but if your with friends they could at least drag you to safety or carry you to higher ground where you could wait for them to go on a rescue mission. in the ARMA missions i know if you survive a hit u can drag your wounded to cover to start giving medical attention, i think this option should be left in dayz, it wont really make things easier for the player with broken bones, just give them a bit more odds of survival if a friend could at least hide them until they get back. i have not suffered too many broken bones in game. but me and a friend were looting in Cherno and out of the blue a game bug decided to break my leg in the middle of the town with not much cover around and then we got attacked by zombies, my loyal buddy fought off as many as he could, then done what everyone else would do... LEGGED IT! there was one building close i could have stayed in until he returned with morphine, but i could not crawl up the stairs, if he could have picked me up, carried me to the top and left me in a room, id have been a lot safer. Anyways, i think the drag/carry option should be left in DayZ after that experience lol. What do you guys think????

cool, lets just hope they sort the animation out them because thats kinda dumb if it is how it is in the vids posted lol. can you actually carry players upstairs then? im sure if the animation is like it is in the vids then it would probably cause death by bug if the wounded is not actually on your shoulders, and if u actually run with the player in front of you i think i would prefer it if they did take it out at least untill they can do the proper animation when u cant run just walk slow carrying them

in the regular game u have the option to drag, or carry them, its one of the first things they train you in bootcamp. it just makes sense to me that if u need others to treat you with a blood transfusion or an epi-stab to revive you, the option should be put back in to at least carry you to a safe place to administer it.

maybe the option is already being worked on then for the next patch... fingers crossed.

stalker is another great game, the devs for stalker have scrapped the sequel to stalker 3 but half of the team have gone off on there own to make a MMOFPS called survarium which is in development as we speak, but there basing it on zombies rather than mutants from radiation like the stalker game... i guess there trying to copy Dayz seeing as this mod has done so well. If Bohemia Interactive actually release DayZ as a stand alone game rather than a mod, i dont think any other game could compare! personally i think they should scrap the development to ARMA III (which has been delayed anyway) and focus on releasing Dayz official game!

good to know... i guess i better get rid of them from this wallpaper and replace them with DayZ zombies.

If anyone has any more creative ideas for me, just let me know on here and i will see what i can whip up. P.s i dont know if its just my low brightness settings on my video card that i use for games, but these wallpapers on my screen look a bit dark to me, if anyone else thinks they are too dark let me know and i will higher the contrast and brightness.

guess we have all got to just push on and do what we can... i wont stop playing it totally, (the games too awesome) but if there was no case of hackers spoiling the game for people i wont be on here now bitching about them like a moody 4 yr old and instead playing Dayz cooking some steaks by a camp fire :thumbsup: :D
