Well you know there is this thing called realism

One of the main reasons that makes this mod so good is that its not just an incredibly realistic zombie sim, but it demonstrates how society would react in this type of situation. It brings out the good and bad in people. Although we mostly see the bad, such as getting axed in the face by a bandit, theft, and rampant murder, you always come across good people in the wasteland, simply trying to survive, and always willing to help others. These people are heroes because they do not give into temptation and don't take the easy way out. (Dramatic music begins playing) I want you post stories here of your own encounters with wasteland heroes, and if you can, their names so they may be remembered. I've had two experiences, both in Cherno. On my second play through i spawned on the east side of cherno and decided to head into town. I mostly made it through the town without incident, until I got to an apartment building. Just before entering i was attacked by two zombies who appeared from nowhere and took them out with my axe. When i went to bandage myself, I really did not know what to do at the time, so when I finally figured it out I had only 2000 blood. I move into the apartment and begin looting when I turn around to an AK47 in my face. Freaking out, I started swinging my axe everywhere. The person just backed up and refused to fire. I then passed out from lack of blood. She then patched me up and gave me a blood tranfusion, not something anyone would do for an obvious noob. She then went on her way, and 5 minutes later i was killed by an axe-wielding bandit. Oh well. The other time i was fighting zed with an axe and losing badly. Another unarmed survivor shows up, and sticks to the outskirts of the fight, yelling at me to "get em, get em, oh god, get em". When it was finished, however, I was bleeding and out of bandages. The other survivor immediately told me to follow him to the hospital. I began and we sprinted to the hospital. I only made it like 20ft before I passed out. I yelled that I was done for, but the other survivor then turned around and began dragging me to across the street, ignoring all the zombies running at him. I did not make it bleeding out in a matter of seconds, and I don't know what happened to the other survivor but I sure hope he made it.

Simply post here the stupidest, and funniest way you have died while playing dayz. Mine is when i was trying to get some chemlights out of an outhouse, only to accidentally close the door on myself, which somehow breaks my legs and causes massive bleeding. While frantically trying to get a bandage on, i accidentally fire of my rifle, attracting every zombie in the town, and spend the next minute running in circles in the field being chased by 20 zombies while bleeding out.

Yeah same here bud i always get a bunch of good stuff then get my face hacked of by a bandit while im not paying attention. Im willing to join your group -patient -preferring not to use lethal force unless necessary -hate bandits -good at sharing supplies -hate bandits skype me at khalesi22
