This is an Arma 2 setting, not DayZ. Doubt Rocket can change it. And I really don't see a reason. Maybe someone has monitor/brightness issues and needs to turn them up!

Why do you need that server? Doesn't it transfer to other servers?

Nothing special. Me and my friends once killed around 40 of them in a Barn/village!

Aren't servers that aren't updated blacklisted and not shown?

They won't remove alt+ f4. They will just implement a tracking system that records your number of disconnects, and if it there are too many it will warn you and then kill your character!
