Hackers, and the state of the standalone game?
tsandrey replied to KetchupOnTheDog's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I LOL'ed. Is IT REALLY THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND?! THIS IS A FREAKING MOD. Arma is designed to run scripts, and BI won't disable that!!!! BE can't fight that, and the DayZ dev team can't do anything about it!! When DayZ becomes standalone, they will disable scripts!!! Seriously, is it that hard to understand that?!!!! http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/55031-hackers-what-you-need-to-know/ -
Very nice

New Major BattlEye Anti-Cheat Features
tsandrey replied to cm. (DayZ)'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
So, how much is this new BE feature effective against hackers? Does it have to be admin managed? If a server has bad admins, are these new features are useless? -
Around 5000

POLL: Graphic Glitches & 1.7.2.5
tsandrey replied to cleveden8's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yes. It's still random, but the number and intesity of artifacts reduced -
DayZ is more about Zombies, than PVP. DayZ without Zombies, is like Battlefield without guns

Imagine if DayZ standalone used this engine..
tsandrey replied to RJ Macready's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yes and no. The Arma 3 engine fits DayZ better. It's more realistic, and Rocket knows that engine better -
Some article posted this now. I thought this was a troll? Anyway, even if this is a troll, Rocket said that he will add creepy stuff in DayZ later

A basic analogy of the Updates
tsandrey replied to Feint (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
LOL Idiots. This mod is 4 months old and has 1 million players. You think the DayZ devs expected so much players? DO you even understand how much work they have to put into standalone and updates now? I guess not, cause your posts are retarded -
"I hope standalone's not on A3 because my PC won't run it, wahhhh wahhh wahhh"
tsandrey replied to TheMachine's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
He said that standalone will be a mix of those 2 engines, and that it will actually run BETTER than the current mod -
Hero skin with 150 Humanity? How?

Do you use Steam or DVD Retail version of ArmA2?
tsandrey replied to horrgakx's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Steam version. Downloaded Arma 2 Free and bought OA -
You really don't know what you are saying? Rocket did everything he can to stop cheaters.

Battleye is effective. It only takes them 2 days to detect a hack/script once it's released. The problem is that, Battleye can only detect them, after they have done the damage. Arma allows scripts and trusts the client! But BI won't disable that. Arma is meant to work like that. It's really none's fault. Arma was not supposed to be a Zombie mod

Cheaters.

tsandrey replied to Feint (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It's funny, but not true. Every update is awesome, and only idiots complain. -
Have we figured out how humanity works yet?

Hackers, and the state of the standalone game?
tsandrey replied to KetchupOnTheDog's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
That's not poor design. They did that on purpose. Arma was designed to allow scripts, trust the client and be moddable. It was never designed to be a Zombie mod -
You obviously don't understand that this is a mod. They are hacking Arma, not DayZ. Actually, they are not even hacking Arma. Arma was made to be moddable and trustable, and they won't change that for DayZ. Arma was never meant to be a Zombie survival game! Until DayZ becomes standalone, hacking will be a problem

Hackers, and the state of the standalone game?
tsandrey replied to KetchupOnTheDog's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
No. There is something wrong in that calculation And on that guy that said "they have a lot of CD keys": Every game has hackers like that. And that's not the problem -

http://dayzmod.com/f...ctive-banwaves/ Yes it's doing it's job. Btw. Who the hell said that there are 12,000 banned cheaters? That's impossible! There have been 13,000 banned cheaters in BF3, and BF3 is much older than DayZ and has 5X players! Either you're wrong or every 50th person in DayZ is cheating -
