I said it was possible, just didn't happen before. Maybe, but BE checks all ban appeals. So if there were other false bans, they were likely unbanned. Exceptions can always happen. Engine matters the most. Anti-cheats can only detect existing cheats, they can't patch engine security problems. Good for you -

Yes, and I don't remember the last time I have seen a cheater in A3/DayZ. Cheating was rampant in A2, but that was because of the engine, not because of BE. If you're so sure BE is garbage, why don't you check out some of the "undetected " cheats. Or wait, that's probably what you already did ;) -

I don't have to work for BE to know the truth. Dwarden (a BI developer) confirmed that there have been no other false positives. Maybe your ban is false, maybe it isn't. Send a message to BE and they'll unban you if it's false. But since you're posting lies like "BE is garbage", I'm more convinced your ban is legit. No, it's not, learn to read. You state that false positive happen all the time, which is false. I stated that there was only one false banwave and, as confirmed by Dwarden, no others. -

Valve was just using that tactic for a special banwave. I doubt they are still using it, and even if they are, they don't ban for just having the site open. -

There are no false bans and there never have been. There was only 1 false banwave back in August 2012, but no other. Stop lying or stop downloading suspicious programs if you don't want to get banned. Also, you can't get banned for browsing hack sites -

Making a new Steam account and purchasing on DayZ on that one will work. Bans can't carry over multiple Steam accounts -
The melee seems a bit worse, other than that it's a great update.

Nobody is asking for the whole audio system to be redone. Hell, they could have used placeholder sounds from A2. But what we have now is insanely annoying! This needs to have a priority! -
BI added them to A3 some time ago, there's no "importing" (not even sure how that would work)

Those are items added to A3 for civillian life and the campaign. And since it's the same company, what's the problem?

Infinite ammo is something that the devs need to fix, not BE. BE cannot close engine exploits. -

Does banning all public hacks and private hacks count as doing something? Because that's what BE is doing Haha. Yes, why ban hundreds of cheaters at once with a banwave, when you can ban one at a time? /sarcasm -

And how exactly will this fictional admin know if somebody is cheating? He won't. We have 2 anti-cheats (BE and VAC) and that's more than enough. We only need some security exploits fixed!

I'm pretty sure that gun isn't supposed to kill somebody, just knock them down -
This is not a basic FPS shooter, in which you can track a players stats and K/D ratios to determine if he's cheating. It's also basically impossible have a Gamemaster that watches over a player to see if he's cheating. As for value related anti-cheats (kick for travelling big distances bla bla), they seem rather risky. You can imagine that lagg could cause a lot of false positives. BE and a secure engine is still the best way to go!

Hopefully it's never introduced (even as an option). The original DayZ times where servers didn't have global chat were much better...
