AA (one of the most notorius cheating sites in general) discounted their DayZ ESP hack until standalone, cause of detections. No, it can't. VAC is shit Banning private/public hacks is more than enough. Anti-cheats are designed to detect cheats available to the mass, not to go hunt individuals using hacks. Servers admins can take care of him or someone can report him and the cheater will get banned. Can you please stop lying and denying facts?

I really hope they increase the view distance in standalone. It has been far too small in DayZMod

Weeks!? BE usually busts public hacks in 24 hours. Do you just randomly make your facts up or what? That's exactly why they hate BE. They lose a lot of money ;) Hackers are stupid and they tend to lie and spread false information. Exactly what the guy in this thread is doing. How is that ignoring the problem?

It's cruel and awesome. The map design is pretty, you need to search for food/drinks and there are awesome events like the EVR and Bloodsuckers! -
The Arma 2 landscape picture looks like it's on Low Settings? I'm pretty sure Arma 2 on Very High settings would look much much better than the one you compared in the picture

Removing third person is crazy. Doing that would equal shooting the game in the foot, as many many people prefer using third person. I can deal with no crosshair, but I think the best solution would be just making it more inaccurate!

Even now in it's current state DayZ doesn't become boring very fast. Now imagine how it will look like without hacking (major one), better Zombies, improved map, improved GUI, more weapons, more skins, more characters, story, better netcode, less issues, more immersive...

As long as some basic HUD is here (ammo count, weapon, blood), I'm fine with removing most HUD elements

No. Keep it. Why are you trying to push this "realism" thing so far? Arma mechanics are already realistic, with and without crosshairs. Removing the crosshair is just silly... Maybe a less accurate crosshair would be the best?

In most cases, yes. But in some cases it's caused by streaming/recording tools or other legit applications. -
Do you use Avira? If you do, add all BE folders as exceptions

Among many? How many? 2 sites? They share the same hack, and the rest are private. Completely false. Views mean nothing. There will be hacking in standalone, and VAC does suck, BUT it will be far from 1/3 players. Again, a completely false statistic.

The hack was out for a week, and there is no new version. Stop lying, maybe? You don't understand how it works. Most masskill and teleports hacks are private and only held by a couple of people. Those are not sites selling them. You expect BE to go buy hacks like that? WTF dude?! Get your facts straight before posting

It's not hacked LOL This happened to PB before. The way BE works probably bothers Avira a bit, so it causes a false positive alert. If you downloaded BE from the website or it updated ingame, you should be fine. -
