Once on a server during a session of playing I stick to that one but may well be on a completely different server the next day.

Good idea. I'm sure people would find ways round it but its a good start I reckon.

We were running Taviana on our, now closed down, server. It was relatively busy with a regular amount of people playing daily. We all kind of got on and it was generally a friendly atmosphere. There was one guy that started playing called UnskilledBandit. Nice enough lad. Quite chatty and seemed to have a name that was more ironic than actually being a bandit. We'd run into him raiding various places as we flew around in a chopper or drove around in our SUVs and all seemed well. After about 2 weeks of him being regularly on the server I get a lot of the regulars telling me, as an admin, that he's basically ganked them and is a hacker etc... (he wasn't as far as we could tell). So we thought this was great as it added a bit of spice that wasn't happening too much on our server and encouraged him to carry on doing it and maybe recruit some more people to be bandits on the server and liven things up a bit. The next day me and another admin are raiding a hospital in... erm... I can't remember the name. Wasn't the big city with the square on east island but the one slightly north-west of it I think. My mate has a ghillie on and suddenly gets shot and ends up with a leg broken. There's a bit of a firefight but he manages to crawl away and I sort him out and we drive off to go get a heli and hunt whoever it was down. This Unskilled then starts smack talking over chat about how we'll never find him etc... so we go get a helicopter and go looking for him. We found him by a church and a firefight ensued that eventually led to him killing me by shooting me out the gunner seat (I never said I was good) and me falling to the ground from a reasonable height and totally losing the location of my body. A LOT of decent kit was lost. The next day we were flying around in a group of 4 getting me kitted out again and generally just talking rubbish on raidcall when we see he's signed on again. So we go hunting him. We find him driving a truck up the side of a volcano. So with a bit of circling and some excellent flying and shooting from the guys we eventually kill him. Sweet Sweet revenge. Well it gets better.... We start to smack talk him back about how we blew up his truck, he was a total hoarder of loot, and a lot of his loot has gone he informs us we will never find where he stashes his trucks and that one was pretty empty... This to us seemed to be a challenge... so we then spent the next hour flying around until we spotted a load of trucks in some trees. They were absolutely CRAMMED with loot with about 8 tents nearby full of loot also. So 3 of us got out the heli and took a truck each back to our camp. Unloaded them then drove back and raided all the tents and took all that back to our base. We then drove the trucks back and ran over all his tents and used some satchel charges we'd stolen from him to blow up the trucks. When he logged on the next evening he was GUTTED. He still played on the server for a few weeks but a lot of the other guys owed him payback and he was dying a lot and I think he got tired of it and went elsewhere. (tl;dr)

GamingUnity's Vilayerprivate hive server (40 slots) needs active players. Currently running with Taviana. UTC -9 Search GamingUnity in Dayz Commander and come join us. Active admins happy to help out, friendly players (but need more). 200+ vehicles and plenty of heli crash spawns. Server restarted regularly to refresh the spawns. Vehicle resets only done by consensus of regular visitors. Hope to see you there.

Love the Faith No More version but might as well just use the original Sabbath version. I think DayZ lends itself to a more desolate sounding instrumental type of music personally but still a top tune you've chosen. Only thing that springs to mind is a good ol' bit of Aphex Twin... although it takes a while to get going.

Try playing full screen rather than windowed and see if that helps. Otherwise it could well be a corrupt file of some sort. You could of course consult an IT professional's best friend... google and see if there's anything about it there. Assume you already tried that before coming here though. Best of luck sorting it out.
