I have to say that I am sure what happened was amazing but your written interpretation of it is erm.... shite.

You can find a list of the English names alongside the Russian in some wiki or other. I use it and it helps me get a vague idea of where I am. I'd post a link but it's a 2 second google search and I am very much in to people looking for things themselves (i.e. lazy).

That's because we are a bunch of dis organised, useless fuckwits.... which is the best thing to be if you ask me. A properly organised team of players using TS would probably have some rule where only one person gives the orders and the others just say "Roger".. I know.. I've experienced it. There's no soul to it. Each to their own though.

Most of the time spent on TS for me and the group of guys I run with is us talking absolute and utter bollocks. We do use it during encounters but more often than not we still end up shooting each other as well as the other people. And luring people into traps is all part of the fun. We only ever attack people who attack us but we'll happily rob gullible fools if they are too trusting.

Putting a sack over my head and playing Elektro-roulette by running around shouting over direct comms...in my pants. -
The goal in song form...

You've been told 10000000000 times about exaggerating now. :P

I found a Worn Moby Dick. I won't go into too much detail about what it made me do.

right click ( I think..)

I think a barter system would be better. As in "I'll give you x amount of rounds for that scope" or something like that rather than a single currency item. I guess it depends how rare and important something is/becomes

Best idea I've seen on here for ages. Deer Hunter here we come!

60% of the time.

Me and the squad I run with are off to help new-spawns along the coast tonight. Let's hope we have more joy.

Ahhhh makes sense that actually. I did wonder what they were for.

Charcoal tablets I think.

Fishing would be a great addition. The banditry possibilities alone make it a great addition. Also you could attack zombies with.... a herrrring!

Same thing happened to me. Took about five minutes of random running and vaulting at walls to get out. You'll die of thirst before you die of hunger anyway so if you sprint a lot then you'll get more thirsty more quickly. Or get a buddy to come shoot you in the face to put you out your misery. You could also always wait for natural erosion to occur. I'd say that if it's granite you only have a few thousand years to wait as long as there's a strong wind or it's on the coast.

The climate of Chernarus isn't conducive with cultivating a good crop unfortunately. Hopefully as SA develops we will be able to find hydroponics and fix up a generator. All those abandoned houses could finally have some sort of use as long as we can find a load of vietnamese to look after them for us. Basically you will have to stick to the limited supplies of opiates out there for now.

1 Direction and Justin Beiber. All of the Kardashians (I think) The Osmonds (including Little Jimmy Osmond). All of New Kids on the Block and Marky Mark. The choices are endless.

PVE / PVP EvE Online type game mechanics
MadMags replied to mark.scales@blueyonder.co.uk's topic in Suggestions
This. The system works perfectly within Eve but in DayZ it kind of defeats the point. Eve isn't a survival game as such whereas DayZ is basically a Darwinian simulator of sorts. -
I thought the whole point of the blurry screen was as a result of getting shot/losing a lot of blood and is designed to mimic the effects of blood loss and give you a visual indicator that it has happened and you need to sort it out? So is it a fix or an 'exploit' you describe? Not trolling you or anything or dissing what you are saying. Asking a genuine question.

1.The hacking side of things is very high on their agenda and why they changed the model to server-side stuff instead of client side (someone probably knows the technical terms and all that and can correct me if I am wrong. 2. With SA they haven't implemented vehicles as yet but 1-2 hours should be enough to get kitted up once you get used to the lay of the land. There are well documented hotspots where you can find action if you want it's just getting there. If you haven't played before then I suggest looking at the map http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus also I find getting a list of what the Russian road signs means helps a lot for navigating. At first though you will probably spend the first few 1-2 sessions dying of thirst. I would suggest seeing if you can group up with some experienced players via a request on this forum and have them show you the ropes.
