    Are we there yet?
  1. I have setup BEC on my server, but it's not working. I don't mean specific things, I mean the entire program, the scheduler, nothing. I can't even use the public uptime or help commands. Looking in the log, it appears as though the server is checking the files, because I was getting errors before when the scheduler couldn't parse, and I fixed that, but I am still getting nothing.
  2. What aspect didn't help? Gotta give us something.
  3. Go to http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and download the latest beta patch for the server you want to join. It is mostly 103718, so just click on that file. Once you download it, it should run through the setup, and you will be all updated.
  4. I believe I got it working now. I didn't know BEC spat out logs, so thank you very much. Beans to you sir.
  5. I need someone who knows how BEC Schedulers work to look over mine. For whatever reason, it is not working in game. Thank you. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?><?xml-stylesheet href="acs.xsl" type="text/xsl" ?><Scheduler> <!-- show text ingame every 60 min --> <job id="1"> <time>001500</time> <delay>000010</delay> <day>1,2,3,4,5,6,7</day> <loop>1</loop> <cmd>say -1 Server restarts every 3 hours EST.</cmd> <cmdtype>0</cmdtype> </job> <job id="2"> <time>02:50:00</time> <delay>000000</delay> <day>1,2,3,4,5,6,7</day> <loop>0</loop> <cmd>say -1 The server will restart in 10 minutes.</cmd> <cmdtype>0</cmdtype> </job> <job id="3"> <time>02:55:00</time> <delay>000000</delay> <day>1,2,3,4,5,6,7</day> <loop>0</loop> <cmd>say -1 The server will restart in 5 minutes.   6. Well, all of the options are there, and I already talked to a guy there (the waiting time is horrendous). Everything should be possible, I just don't really know how to configure it.
  7. I need someone who is familiar with HFB Servers and DayZ overwatch to help me configure and setup my server. I am new to being an admin, but I am old to the game. I would preferably like to have someone who wants to do this just to help, but if needed I can pay. Things I am looking to do that I am having trouble with (some are going to seem very nooby) - Set a custom vehicle spawn number and set the actual spawn points - How to sign in and be an admin on the actual client side - Finding out how to do anything admin related (from player spectating to spawning to tp'ing) - Installing new beta patches I know some of this may seem a little bit simple, but I just don't understand or am having trouble with this stuff. If you don't want to help with all of this stuff, but do know how to do one of the above. PLEASE leave a comment below. It would mean the world. Thanks.
  8. It's should actually be "BattlEye doesn't make mistakes. Ever." But no biggie. I understand r-tards have this problem with believing stupid shit and incorrect grammar. Forgiven. :)
  9. God dang died and now I need a ghille back. Weapons up for trade: AS50 - BIZON - M4A1 CCO SD w/ 4 mags Tools: Everything but radio.
  10. For some reason whenever I restart my server, everything in my vehicles (gear/backpacks/weapons) gets reset and disappears. Does anyone know of a surefire way to make sure the gear in vehicles get's saved?
  11. Cheap? HFB. Good quality? HFB. Good support? HFB. I think you get the point.
  12. Shut my server off for 8 hours, start it up when I wake up and whaddya know, they're back. Try shutting down your server for an extended period?
