I read it. You wanted to know before you bought CO to play Dayz that one day it'd become a standalone game. It was speculated for awhile but only just announced. Hopefully the next time he makes a mod he puts on the front page "This mod is so good that you shouldn't buy the game it's based off to play the Alpha and assist development because It'll become a standalone game sometime in the future."

I hate these threads. "I paid $30 for Alpha" You bought Combined Operations to play a mod in Alpha. Of course you were going to have to buy it when it became standalone.

You won't get banned for having hacked weapons as long as you didn't hack them in. Which is ridiculous in my opinion.

Nice work OP good comeback from a hacking experience. It sounded pretty epic. Who doesn't do the gamma exploit, you'd be stupid not to. If you're on a night server everyone does it or they have NVG. Edit: You have my beans for the pictures done in paint. GJ.

Less guns and make them a lot rarer. So you run around with a melee weapon forever. I would be happy then, it's too easy at the moment. No tension, and no fear. Sure doesn't feel like a zombie apocalypse to me.

Rocket stated somewhere DayZ would move to beta once he stopped adding features. He's still adding features. So it's alpha. Maybe you should read the definition of beta testing. This mod is clearly not in the final stages of its development.

From the sound of it you get top gear in no time anyway. Good to see there's still friendlies and people having fun.

That was a terrible put on voice (I hope). It's a decent starting gun though. I wouldn't call it a guide as much as a weapon summary.

Got shot and passed out on 235 blood lived through the 2 minute timer. Went on to die later somehow.

That's what the majority is doing, only a small minority are complaining on the forums about it.

For friendly survivor? Hide. Hide in the forest, live off animals and have a water source nearby.

Coast is a good spawn for new characters, I don't see that it should or will change. If coastal spawns were removed, spawning/waking in the forest would be an acceptable alternative.

You can't complain about the community, if you're part of the problem.
