Edge of the map, run a circuit. It's boring as hell, but that's where they are. People tend to hide them in the same 4 areas, just study your map and get ready for some jogging.

I think this thread was just a good excuse to use the term "raging clusterfuck." Its fun to say.

So this was weird. I'm countersniping in cherno, and I hear a DMR going off. I turn to the hills and see what i'm pretty sure was a guy prone, a split second later it's a boar. I drop the Boar and see "(RAN)domguy was killed." However, my kill s don't change. Paranoid as I am, I log out, fearing a mass kill or something, when I log into a different server I am next to the hill the guy was on, still with full health, but groaning from pain/infection every seconds. So I'm wondering - could a scripter do all of this? Or is it just my paranoia + bugs?

From what I can tell there are several guns that have an effective range longer than their audible range, AS50 is probably the best example

The post was made before 1911 and revolver damage was reduced, The only sidearms that standout now are the PDW for fullauto (meh) and the M9SD for the suppression. The rest all have similiar range and damage so they are basically the same gun with different clip sizes.

Its like a one in five chance that the guy you help wont just shoot you first chance. I don't approach anyone as a rule. but I will cover people without them knowing and counter-snipe. If you get really bored? Pick off all the zeds around someone who is trying to sneak by them with that .50 cal, you can laugh at the ensuing freak out and sleep well at night.

I ran past a a rock the other day and heard that snap. Wasn't on top of it, just in proximity, you just have to laugh and wal...crawl it off.

I've had a similiar experience, but i haven't been able to become a full on bandit. To keep the game fun I like to go to sniper spots and cover people who don't know they are being covered. Take something loud like an m107 ..tons o fun.
