Hey, so I have had this issue for a while. For some reason, I run slower than everyone else I group with. They always have to stop and wait for me to catch up. One time, my friend stopped to shoot at some guy when we were on our way to some place, and I kept running, and I had a ten minute start and he STILL caught up to me. Sometimes, when I'm in full sprint, I'm slower than people crouch running. It's not my internet connection, and I don't see how low FPS could cause it ( My fps usually hovers around 30). Its also not having too much gear, because my friends will be loaded down with gear, and I have a pistol and patrol pack, and they STILL out run me. It pisses me off.

So me and my friends were dicking around in elektro when this happened. Yeah. Just watch it.

So, I usually play a hero/neutral survivor, but I joined a new server and decided to play as a bandit with my friends. We did the usual murder and stealing and looting, and we decided to head to Elektro to get some meds. While we were there we heard a bus, and since we needed a ride, we decided to attack them. Big mistake. We opened fire and took out a tire and it swerved to the right, and about 12+ guys jumped out, I don't know how many, since I didn't take the time to count. They weren't very well armed, but they had the advantage in numbers, and they took out my pitiful group of three bandits. That is why, you should think before you shoot at a bus.

Hell yeah fun dip, except if you get startled you spill the sugar everywhere.

Hands down the shittiest weapon ever is the Crowbar. Low damage, combined with the shitty "melee system" and the fact that it never drops when you want it to, makes it by far the shittiest weapon, and I never pick it up. EVER.

First of all, we don't know it the hotel will be destroyed, all the screenshot showed was some rubble on one side, perhaps he was showing off something about destruction. Maybe that's how the hotel is always going to be, don't jump to conclusions.

So, I play on an awesome server (US 1011) and me and my crew were flying a huey along the coast, when we ran into another chopper that started engaging us. Once this happened, people started talking about it in side chat. I guess this attracted the attention of ALOT of other people, because soon another chopper showed up. Then another. and another. Finally, a 6th chopper showed up. I couldn't believe my eyes, a 6 way dog fight over Cherno, and the amount of gun shots, and rotor blades.... it was crazy man. It was a true test of my piloting skills to be able to line my gunners up, keep from getting shot, avoid buildings, and not slam into another chopper. I was freaking out, and so was my crew, and the people down below in cherno weren't even fighting each other, or trying to shoot us. It seemed like the entire server had its eyes on the skies of Chernogorsk. My gunners took down 2 choppers, I out maneuvered one, causing him to slam into a building, and then the other chopper was taken out at some point, and finally the last chopper ended up shooting us down. I barely survived, and crawled my way to a hospital to wait for my friends. I just... I was speechless. I hope somebody recorded that shit. Also, before anyone makes any comments about how it sounds easy to get choppers, its not. They have high vehicles spawns and shit, but usually someone has a huey, and its difficult to hang on to them, because a dog fight can break out at any moment. You have to stay sharp no matter what.

So, Rocket if you read this, I'm wondering about Green Mountain in the SA. Green Mountain has its own little mythology in Day Z, and I've always gotten a bad vibe from the place. It's just so..... creepy. I was just wondering if you were planning to do anything with this, and really make Green Mountain into something else, it's just too good not to do it Rocket. That's pretty much it, I'm super excited for SA, whenever it drops.

There is a feature I have wanted in Day Z for a while, and I think it would be fucking metal. What is this feature you ask? Cannibalism. Yes. Cannibalism. I want to defeat an opponent, and consume his flesh while uttering a might war cry. I want to run around with an ax, and slaughter and eat my enemies. It would be so much fun, and I just think it should be added. This IS realism is it not, undoubtedly, in the apocalypse there would be acts of cannibalism. Fund it.

I hope this becomes a feature rocket :)

Please enlighten me as to how its unrealistic that someone might eat another human being during the apocalypse. Its happened in real life, and they didn't need an excuse like being unable to find food due to the world ending.

Exactly! Imagine walking through the woods, and a group of players invite you to your camp at night. Once there, you're relaxing, and you ask to grab a gun, and they allow you to. When you check one of the tents, it is filled to the brim with human flesh, raw and cooked. You gasp in horror, spin around, only to see them standing behind you with hatchets. Then you get murdered..

I usually freeze up, and try to move as quietly as possible to a hiding spot, that or run.

So me and my friends ( Just me) found an m136 in the barracks, but its bugged. I've seen video's of people who have it working fine, and some who have the same bug as me, where it just shows the model of whatever gun is in your hand, and when it fires, it makes the noise and uses the rocket, but doesn't actually shoot a rocket. How do I fix this?

So, I play on a private hive ( US 1011) and it has made the van my 3rd favorite land vehicle in Day Z, with the GAZ in 2nd, and the SUV ( Private Hive) in first. Now, here is why: So, if you didn't know, you can go to the back of the van, and if you ride in back, you look like some sort of knuckle dragging waste of life, and only a bit of your head is visible in the windows. I was in the back, with my 2 friend up front when I heard shots, and the van swerves, and both my friends died. I didn't get out, because I was hoping they didn't see me. They come over, stick a tire on the van, and start driving. I'm sitting in the back, freaking out, telling my friends whats going on. Eventually, we arrive at their camp, and when they are stashing some loot, I hop out, shout over DC "I WAS IN THE BACK OF THE VAN YOU IDIOTS" before lighting both of them up, looting their camp, and driving off with my trusty van. That's why you should always check to see if a car is empty.

What the hell is wrong with loot farming? I was the only one on the private hive, and had nothing else to do but kill time... am I supposed to just, go to some place with worse loot, and come back, or not come back at all?

I was loot farming at the barracks, and it spawned.
