  1. BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE! Not old enough to serve, but I look towards the future. gauntlet14
  2. This is a story I made. It is loosely based off of actual events that happened to a friend of mine. "I was wandering with my spotter. I had met him only minutes before. I think he was American; never asked. We crawled...a lot. Soon we came across a helicopter crash crawling with zombies...and a group of survivors. We talked with them on the outskirts of the site. Amazingly, they didn't shoot us. There were four of them, and they only had pistols. I talked with my spotter, and we agreed on a plan. We could cover them crawling to the chopper, and split the contents with them. We knew they might try to hog it, so we agreed to shoot them with the first "no". We set up on a nearby hill and I zoomed in with my scope on my .50. He had his binoculars. Only one of them crawled for the chopper while the others stayed back to help him if he blew his cover...which he did. He alerted himself to a zombie just short of the chopper. I expected this, and I got a good head shot. This gave him time to run to his group. I picked off one or two, but the survivors took care of the rest. My spotter and I moved in as they cleared out the chopper. As we grew closer it was obvious: they'd hit the jackpot. They had two assault rifles (M4's) and an M249. I realized they were now better equipped than us. Then the unthinkable happened. They gave us the the agreed half (I don't remember everything). This, in my opinion, was remarkable. My spotter and I liked these guys, so we agreed to stay with them. We kept out distance in our gillie suits, however. Then we ALL made the mistake of wandering close to the airport. Thanks to the survivors drawing the attention of a light hoard of zombies, the spotter and I made it into the control tower without giving ourselves away somehow. We agreed no to fire any shots. We did relay incoming zombies to the survivors as there were a lot of them. Then they really started to flood in. There must have been twenty zombies come in. The survivors were running out of ammo...and time. Then my spotter said something I will remember. "I'm gonna help 'em." He pulled out the M4 they had given us and ran out of the room. I said it was suicide, but he said that he owed the survivors for staying loyal. Then he told me to stay here and give him visual assistance. So I did. I told them which direction zombies were coming from, and they were able to hold them off right. The survivors were out of ammo. My spotter had only one clip left that was for his rifle. Then the hoard came. He told the survivors to run to the tower I was in. I didn't argue. He...popped all three of the flares he had and ran straight for the zombies. He avoided them loosely. He popped off accurate rounds. That dumbass with his flares must have had 50 zombies around him. Then I heard him say, "I'm out". With that, he ran to the center of the flares, pulled out his ax, and....went down fighting. I watched all of this through my scope as the two remaining survivors came in. They had lost two guys before spotter had joined in. He'd saved their lives. I took a deep breath as I left the scopes view. Then, we heard a helicopter. The admin was actually a nice one that picked up guys who popped flares. WIth his gunners, he mowed down all of the zombies. The survivors lept onto the chopper almost before he said they could. I came out of the tower nonchalantly and approached the body of our fallen comrades. I searched the bodies, and only took the binoculars from the spotter's body. The pilot called for me from the helicopter. I looked toward the chopper, and sighed through the mic. "No thanks. I'm gonna wait for more of 'em. Good luck boys." THE END> Note: Yes, this story was exaggerated to the point that the spotter and the sniper were in voice communication the whole time. The lack of chat was my personal touch of drama :D . Either way, try not to rage too much. Either way, one question... Why are you reading? GO KILL SOME ZOMBIES!

My first last stand/first bandit(s) kill.

It's not always about winning... "shades" It's about making the others lose.

    From Console to PC

I'll try to make this quick. Should I abandon my console and buy a gaming PC? I love the looks of DayZ... Now to mention it, I see how bad the console is in comparison. It's not just DayZ, but most other games in general. Battlefield, Team Fortress, etc. I'm trying to make up my mind  . Suggestions? Also: Please don't troll me for playing console gauntlet14
