After getting sniped n'th time or getting raped by server hoppers I ended up trying it myself. It feels so wrong to shoot survivors, but I want to revenge my deaths :-( I normally don't need any items, so I just leave the body as is. Maybe they come back for it or maybe some bypasser tries to loot it...

M24. Great for sniping up to 800m and since the game's draw distance gets maxed after that I don't need more range. Hits right on every time, love the adjustable zeroing. No zoom to waste time with. Only drawback is that M24 doesn't work with NVG. For that reason DMR is more useful during night ops but I don't do much of those, since I hate NVG's tunnel vision.

I don't mind tents. After dying I can get a bike or ask a clanmate for a ride, and raid a few tents in east coast. Fully geared again in under 1h.

AWS is a gay weapon and should be removed. There's no point using any other weapon really...

Pistols are a bit silly.. I was once looting a church and sitting in a corner when a guy suddendly appears in front of me. I emptied my Makarov's clip into him and he fell. I thought he was dead until a bit later he started to rise. Had to use a double barreled shotgun to make him not move again.

If you die, it's your own fault unless the server got hacked or some Dayz bug killed you. Just learn to play and find some friends, naturally cooperating is a lot easier than soloing. If you randomly die from 1 shot, it's totally your own fault for being so bad....

Is there a reasn not to kill everyone in sight? The unarmed guy you spared a few moments ago finds an axe and chops you from behind... has happened to me..
