OK thanks for your help, I understand now. but what is the actual sound? the first guy who replied tried to explain it as sounding like tchaaaa, I cant really match a sound to that phrase.

so is there only one sound for when its close? I thought there was a sound when it was close and a different sound when its really close. your saying there is just a close sound and a hit sound? I dont really get the tchaaaa. is it a wizz or a pop sound?

Hi guys I know that when someone is shooting at you, you can determine how close they are to actually hitting you but i dont know the noise. I know there is a certain noise for when they are close to hitting you and I know there is a noise for when they are extremely close to hitting you. can someone please tell me what the 2 different sounds are and which sound correlates to close and which one correlates to super close? thanks in advance, CJ

Hi guys so I know how to set the waypoints that you can see after you close the map by hitting shift+ left click. My question is when you dont need the waypoint marked anymore how do you get rid of it? thanks in advance

Hi guys so I found my first map and had a few questions. first off, I know how to set way points but how do I take them off? Second I was reading there are ways to use the map to like set a waypoint to figure out the distance for a sniper shot, how do I figure out distances using the mpa and waypoints or if there are otehr ways to use the map to figure out distance can you tell me that as well. Lastly, is there a way so when u set a way point and you close the mapo that you can see where teh waypoint actually is in game? Any other useful things to know about the map in game would be appreciated as well. Oh and is there a way to get the in game map to show what buildings you can and cant enter or no?

well like many others day z is taking over my life, it is extremely fun and I am starting to get a feel for how intense it can get. I really enjoy playing with other people but so far I have only been able to trust my friends from steam. People I see in game are far too untrustworthy.
