While I like your ideas, this is where you're wrong. Each variation is a new model that has to be made, textured and put in the game database. I'm sure we'll get variations, but it'll take time.

Yes. But it doesn't make much difference, you can imagine just how much a shirt protects you against bullets, i.e. not much. And you can find a sewing kit and fix your clothes up to "worn" again as long as they're not completely ruined. In that case, find new ones. -
KOS = Kill On Sight = killing another player as soon as you see him, without attempting to communicate.

Not only. Pee is sterile, so useful for cleaning wounds in an emergency. -
Pretty much all eastern European countries used Mi-8s or Mi-17s in the same role as the Huey anyway. Another reason an Mi-8 makes sense :).

That's what I'm saying, a Chinese copy would be much more likely to show up in an Easter European country than a Colt.

The Jet Ranger/Long Ranger used to be the most common civilian helicopter in the west. But in the east it was the Mi-8, which was made in much greater numbers than the Jet Ranger (about 7500 of those were made, while there were AT LEAST 17000 Mi-8's produced), so that would make much more sense than an outdated, american helicopter. Rich people today typically get either an Augusta 109 or a Eurocopter Ecureil, but the map is WAY too small for more than one or two helicopters in all, so one light heli (possibly imported Robinson R-22 or similar), and one heavy which should really be an Mi-8.

I think it's unnecessary. Why not just have an ignition key for the car? One less object to render, and much simpler to use.

None of those make any sense, except posswibly a 1911 variant (probably not a Colt, though, but a Norinco would be more appropriate).

There are no rage quit moments in DayZ, unless you get too attached to your precious kit. Also, don't drop a medkit on the ground, just hold it in your hands.

They're alive, and infected, normal human beings. The reason the players aren't infected, is that they're immune. So no, players won't turn into zombies. We WILL however catch nasty infections from zombie attacks, eventually.

He's talking about the "Peter Molyneux Factor", the fact that no game can ever be as good as it is in the mind of the developer.He doesn't mean that he thinks the game will fail, and anyone who thinks so is an idiot.

No. And yes, that's normal. -
1. It means that this game, just like every other game ever published, won't be perfect. So no, we're not playing a game that's going nowhere, it's just not going to the perfect place envisioned in Dean Halls head. 2. We can't. And the question is meaningless anyway, what game did we back, exactly? Did anyone say anything about the end result? 3. No, they'll finish the game and make it a quality product. Then, after 6-12 months of patching, they'll make it playable, just like every ARMA game ever.

I can see this for shotgun shells, maybe, but for rifle and pistol shells you need a bit more equipment to make ammo that performs consistently. Not something you'd really carry around with you :). -

The point is that people aim for center mass, so anything in your chest slots gets destroyed first. When you try to reload in the middle of a firefight, you'll find that you have no working ammo left! Personally, I put food in the vest/shirt slots, once I'm up to healthy. They're easy to replace and make a decent protective vest. No other reason to ever carry food, unless I'm bringing some for a respawned friend. -

Did I hear him wrong, or did he say that we'd be able to catch thrown objects (I imagine by holding down the throw button with empty hands, or something like it)? That would be awesome! -
Oh my god, you have no idea how much I want sound like this in the game :). And some of it should be possible, we already make noise when brusing against bushes, so why not other things? That damn chainlink fence noise would finally have a home!

I believe so. Not entirely sure where I read it, but I think the devs have mentioned the Winchester as coming eventually. And they did have the model in the mod, even though it was some strange shotgun bastard version...

If I can nitpick a bit, there is no such thing as "bullet proof". But those helmets look cool! We could use some more helmet types.

You can have one hardcore and one softcore character. For more than that, you'll have to wait for private hives, which I should think will be introduced sometime right before release.
