There's a tiny two-tent camp north of Lopatino. I think it was around 026,049 on the DayZDB map. It's in one of the bush lines running across the fields in that area.

How many do we have now, 4000? 10 wouldn't be that much more. But I still hope for the huge zombie hordes in the future :).

As in every postapo world Zombies should get dmg only from headshots/headhits.

Please, no. This game has stayed away from bullshit mental "stats" and stuck to physical ones, so that the players can supply the mental bits. And that's the way I like it.

Leg holder? A thing to hold your leg in a gynecologist's chair? If you're talking about holsters, you're about the 100th person to do so. There are even several posts about it on the first page of this forum...

Would love more paints and more color choices. The problem is that each thing you can spray, is another texture that someone has to do, so it'll take time.

That should take even longer than it currently does, though, if you have the pistol in your pack or your pocket. Should only be faster if you have the pistol in a holster of some kind. Both the OP's holsters are the same, they're both leg holsters (not "military holsters" or "police holsters", there's no such thing). And I agree that they should be in the game plus belt holsters as part of a modular belt system, and shoulder holsters that take the chest holster/vest slot (and possibly conceal the gun if you're wearing a jacket).

There is an incentive to not use it: It's incredibly (unrealistically) inaccurate. As evidenced by the guy you mentioned missing his first 100 shots or so.

Civilian clothing has a bonus: you don't look like a dickhead!

I like the idea of having to carry the rifle in your hands until you can find a sling. I don't really mind the idea of sticking an axe under the straps of the backpacks or something, everyone needs an axe!

If we get a .45ACP revolver it should probably be something more modern, like the Smith & Wesson 625. Great gun, although the trigger pull is horrible from the factory :). It would need moon clips, too, which would work the way the speedloaders (incorrectly) do now, and stay in the revolver with the rounds. Personally I'd love to see a Smith & Wesson 547, but that's just a personal fetish of mine. It's a revolver that fires 9x19mm rounds, without half or full moon clips!

Because look at the game as it stands (or the mod, if you like): tons of kids mistaking what could be a unique survival/combat game for CoD and deathmatching their way though Chernarus. -
Well, the 7,62x39 is already in the game, and seems accurate-ish. Shouldn't be THAT much work to put in an AK that uses it. I know most military forces world wide have moved on to smaller caliber AK's, but since the round is already in there, why not have another weapon for it? Reliability isn't much of an issue, all modern guns are pretty damn reliable, including the AK and M4/AR-15 families. They shouldn't show any practical difference in reliability in the game, IMO, other than maybe the AK losing slightly less accuracy than the AR's when really, really damaged.

F performs the default action, which is always "open door" if you have the open door icon in your field of view. So get closer to the door before you open it with F, and you won't reload :). I'm a bit annoyed at how the speedloader works, to be honest. It SHOULD reload your revolver/rifle, then show up again in your inventory, empty. But maybe it will in a future patch.

Would be useful against zombies, but riot gear isn't bullet proof by any stretch of the imagination. Any firearm can shoot straight through a riot shield, and the armor and helmet protect against thrown stones, sticks and possibly stabbing, but not bullets.

It happens, I randombly broke my legs yesterday - must've stepped on a particularly hard blade of grass or something :). I've also fallen off buildings for no reason. Not much to do, if it's possible to fix, it'll get fixed before release, but that's a year or so away.

Dean Hall has stated in a stream that he'd love to do a snow area. So with any luck we'll get some high mountains with snow on them in the north, eventually.

Good news for this thread! Dean mentioned in a stream that heart massage is in, and can help keep someone alive until you can administer proper first aid! Not sure if he meant in next patch, but very soon.

Yes, they do, and you CAN use it. PageUp and PageDown adjusts the zeroing for different ranges.

Not really. You don't need to carry food, ever, and at most you need one bottle of water for emergencies. Ammo, can opener and bandages should fit nicely elsewhere.

Only the 14x scope has an extra zoom level, all the other scopes and sights are fully zoomed in once you aim down them.
