This lag only happens on 1.5.8.2 servers, I joined several ones and they all lagged. I join a 1.5.8.1 and the lag is gone. It's something to do with the 1.5.8.2 patch that is causing a considerable amount of people to have huge framerate drops. Changing settings to all low including VD does nothing. Some say updating battleye helped, I tried this and it did appear to increase framerate slightly, however, it's not enough to make this game playable. I also don't think it makes a different on the system it's being played on.Some have the latest greatest hardware yet it lags on theirs too. My specs just in case: AMD x 4 2.5ghz 4gb ram 6870 1gb

I also updated battleye which seem to have increased my fps a little bit, still not playable though.

A lot of people are experiencing it, I've tried lowering all settings including view distance but it's still the same.

Haven't being able to try this new update as it is now unplayable due to a massive drop in framerate. On older version servers, say 1.5.8.1, framerate is fine but on 1.5.8.2, it is around 10FPS.

Same problem, could max out game at 1080p before update. Now the game is unplayable at 10fps, no matter what the settings are.

Yeah, massive well done to the DayZ Team. Doing an amazing job and hope it keeps going strong. I look forward to what else you'll bring to this amazing mod. Thanks!
