Hey, I'm looking for a group of survivors, mainly looking for australian players because of timezone reasons. I just want to get my humanity up and become a hero :)

Right now I'm at school, I posted it in class so it's like 12:30 pm here, I normally play from about 5-8 in this time here

I used to be a bandit until I realized I had no squad to play with, no friends, I was a loner pretty much. So I started to be nicer and say friendly have some trades and move on, or do a couple of Cherno/Elektro loots. Then for almost a week straight i was shot on site. I lost faith in the game and didn't play for a bit, I started playing again and I played as a nice person, saying friendly and doing trades, then i got sniped in Komarovo and I disconnected. I reconnected and was passed out, a man in a ghillie suit gave me an epi-pen and a blood transfusion, he asked if i was okay, dropped me some food and painkillers, then said "I am Russian, sorry for my badly English." He then dropped a M4A1 CCO SD and walked off into the trees and disconnected. Thank you Grey-Wolf, you've given me back hope into this game that there is still people with morals and people who help fellow survivors out in a time of need. I salute you.

Even through all the kills on sight and all the bandit there is still genuinely nice people out there

I've rarely found bandits lately, guess i'm on a lucky streak :)

What does it do? Does it determine whether you're a bandit or not? And does it go across all characters?

So when do you become a bandit? Like what amount of humanity?

So, I started on a fresh spawn after I just died in NW airfield, and I spawn in Komarovo so i head east and go Cherno, I get decently geared and decide to head north, I get half way to Stary Sobor and it's late so I go to sleep. I wake up the next morning, Log in and I spawn on the east coast, with an AKM, when I initially had an M4A1, I still had my mags for the M4 but I had an AKM, So i raged and disconnected, I reconnect and I'm in Balota now. I went to the airstrip to find AKM mags and I was using my makarov, I agro 2 zombies so I went into the hangar and attempt to kill them, my gun doesn't work, but I had 6 makarov mags and it said 10 was in the clip. I died. Anyone know if this is random, or if there's anything I can do to avoid it? Thanks for help :)

Well, I did pick up an AKM and swap it back with my M4 before I disconnected, could that have something to do with it?

No I've never hacked this game! And I never would, I like the adrenaline of going through a main town with little to no protection to get some :)

Only a couple of days ago, I recently spawned west of Cherno, I went in the city and found some basic loot to get me started. I headed back to the supermarket and after I was done there I was gonna hit the hills and head north. So, when I get there I see to survivors that seemed to have some pretty descent gear. So i walked up behind them and said "Friendly". They then replied saying "Cool". So when they finished in the supermarket and they were headed out, I fired 2 bullets from my Remington into their heads/backs. I searched the bodies and bags, they had a lot of good gear. So I thought to myself. If i kill for gear I can get geared at a faster rate. So I then decided. No mercy. Kill on sight unless they have no gear. Now I am, a bandit. DRAMATIC STORY WHUUUT?

I needed gear and I knew I would die if I took them on in a fair gun fight. Deceiving them jumped my chances to almost 100%. Do what needs to be done to survive. Or for teh LOLZ.

From what I've heard a bandit is a survivor who steals gear, whether or not you need to kill for the gear isn't part of the question.

Hey, I always seem to get stuck at loading screens. I looked on the internet and it said to mae sure the versions match, so I updated my Dayz and Arma 2 to the most recent. I still kept getting them so I tried using Dayz commander and setting it to hide the wrong versions. I'm still getting stuck. Could it be the servers are actually on the wrong version? Thanks in advance for help.

I just finished a Cherno raid and was in the construction site in the east when I was going over what me and my group gathered. I finished and went up the yellow structure to the south east and had some target practice on some Zeds. I walk around to get a better shot at a zombie and I glitch through the railing and fall to my death. You gotta get that shit sorted quickly. I had an alice pack, full of medical supplies and an M4A1 with 5 magazines, I also had a sidearm. I had my ghillie suit, my NVGs, My binoculars, my map, compass, watch, matches 6 cooked meat and more! I got really shattered for this and I've lost all will for this game for a while. So PLEASE could you try and work out this glitch! It's happened to me before but I had no gear I couldn't get easily. And if you cunts try to write hate calling me a bitch, noob or whatever. I don't really care and I won't be replying to it so you won't get any satisfaction. cunt. [Warned - 4L4N]

From then on there will be a little trial period that consists of going to elektro to get some gear and just to see how you communicate. If all goes well then you will be accepted into the group and you can help with the recruiting progress.
