Yeah same here, kind of sucks. If the official respond is "The current version of DayZ does not have chat enabled" like you say, then I guess there's nothing we can do about it aside from hoping it's enabled one day.

Yeah same here. I've come across at least 5 people so far since playing and no one ever responds. I think the direct channel chat just does not work. Hope it gets fixed some day... kinda odd teaming up with some random person that doesn't shoot you and you can't talk to them lol On the flip side, using Group Channel while in the lobby people respond some times. -
Yeah, that'd be cool. I have some STANAG magazines with only like 5 to 10 rounds in them and I never want to drop them because I always think I might need them one day lol Quick tip: Converting M1911 magazines into .45 ACP and back to M1911 makes it full again. It's a cheat and I'm sure it'll be patched out one day. So I guess take advantage of it while you can.

Same here. Takes multiple shots to kill zombies with both the Revolver and M1911 after updating to ArmA 2 v1.62
